"I enjoyed working with the Coastline Lawn Service. They were professional and made my house look like a new home. Everything was done so cleanly and neatly. The Landscaper really took the time to make something beautiful for me to come home each day. Thank you Shannan"

"
very good, provided helpful suggestions, very fair pricing even with change orders,. His strong point is that he knows what he is doing and does good work.  The majority of what I paid was do on completion of the job.  I'm a mechanical engineer and I'm used to working with people that have very good technical skills.   Mr. Newman may not have an engineering degree but he has a very good understanding of the technical aspects of construction and he has a good sense of what looks good.  He'd be a rich man if he had fewer interests and worked a 60 hr week."

"He was very prompt in picking up the piece. ?However, after a week, we tried to call and the phone number had been changed. ?Once we got the new phone number he was very responsive. ?The work on the furniture was done beautifully and we are very, very happy with it. Allessandro is a very pleasant person who takes a lot of pride in his craftsmanship -- and he is a craftsman. ?I would recommend him."

Fountains questions, answered by experts

Yes, it is possible to make a fountain without a pump, though it may seem less intuitive and will require a bit more effort to use. In lieu of an electric pump, there are a few options including hand-cranked pumps or sprinkler systems that can work to provide water for a fountain.

Most home misters use several cups of water in a couple of minutes, or around a gallon per hour of use. That varies greatly depending on the size of the system and the power of the pump. If you are using professional services, you should ask about water use for your planned system when you’re getting an estimate. If you are using a water tank, make sure it’s filled before operation.

DIY kits are available, but professional installation ensures proper water flow, electrical safety, and leak prevention.

You can use the outdoor spigot to do many things like cleaning patio furniture, washing down driveways, or watering plants. You can also attach outdoor hoses and some sprinkler systems to your spigot, making it much easier to keep your grass and plants watered. When connecting a hose or sprinkler system to your outdoor spigot, pay close attention to the manufacturer’s instructions, as they can ensure a snug fit with no leaks.

While they’re popular and have a lot of pros, the cons of river rocks include the following:

  • River rocks don’t break down or provide nutrients to plants.

  • These stones can get hot and scorch nearby plants.

  • River stones may heat the surrounding soil to inhospitable temperatures.

  • Rocks can block rainwater from seeping into the ground if installations are too thick or tightly packed.

Most downsides occur when using river rock as mulch in gardens and flower beds. However, you can still incorporate river rocks into your landscape as long as you use them in the correct ways.
