Well I can honestly say it was the most satisfying business transaction to date. Chris was the 4th contractor that I had talked to about what I wanted done in my backyard. I do not have enough room to describe the amazing work that was accomplished. Let's start by saying his prices beat the others I talked too by a lot and thats after I told him that was not the most important thing to me. Quality was what I was searching for, well I got it in spades. He personally answered my 1000 questions lol he never once got frustrated with me. He is very adamant about details both big and small. He poured my porch amazed me and my construction friends with his stamp process it's amazing. He also redid my back steps, poured a walkway, tied the concrete in with my outside bar and playhouse all with different processes. His crew also removed my pavers fix drainage issue and came back to make sure it all worked for me before he asked for 2nd half of payment. Ty Chris and crew for your amazing work !!

The job went very well when the weather cooperated! We were impressed with the professionalism of all involved in the project. Chris was diligent in texting to keep us informed about work schedule. A problem of water drainage was addressed and completely solved by Chris to our great satisfaction. They went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with their work. We appreciated their ability to envision what we wanted and create the perfect look for our backyard! We highly recommend them and will use them for our future projects!

Chris is great to work with. He came out to the site to give me a quote. He was on time and got us done. He sent pictures of the work site since this was a rental property and I was not there the entire time to monitor the work. I would definitely use him again for the work site was cleaned up and the quality was excellent!!! Call him, he will beat other quotes.

My husband and I were very pleased with
Chris, he was fast on his response time when we contacted him and even helped
us get a framer for the project. He completed the work for us in a timely
manner even though he was busy with other large jobs we really needed someone
to help us and he offered to work to get the job done at the end of the day and
on the weekend to meet our timeline for the project. Most the other
people we contacted were too busy and some were not a good fit for us based on
professionalism. He was the only one we talked to that had accurate knowledge
on exactly how he was going to tie it into our existing slab. Other
companies we spoke with did not give us the comfortable feeling we received
with Chris which i thought was odd considering they advertise this type of work
you would think they were more knowledgeable. Since using Chris we have
referred him to some friends of ours who are in the process of having him build
new brick steps and take up and pour a walkway. They are very pleased with him
as well. We would highly recommend Chris the owner of EMAC to other Angie?s
list member's as a skilled craftsman and a professional with quality standards
and ethics. Thank you again Chris for helping us complete our project
with a positive experience.

"Construction is easy if you know what your doing. I was actually quite proud to answer all the intricate questions asked about their project with detailed, understandable answers. I must admit i was a little taken back by how thorough the Franks were with their "phone interview". Once i proved to them i was who i claim i am, they hired me on the spot. Chris was prompt to return our initial phone call and to provide a competitive quote. Chris arrived on the appointment date and completed the work in a timely manner. The walkway looks great! Chris did what we asked and did not try to sell us products that we did not need such as tint for the walk. We feel comfortable suggesting Chris to others needing concrete work! We have asked him for additional quotes for some more concrete work we need to have done!

Chris was professional, punctual and gave me other recommendations for my home which saved me money. While digging he alerted me to a possible water leak that had been going on for awhile which saved me money. The soil he dug he later found out was hard clay and rock which was much harder to dig out and took more man hours than anticipated. He did not charge me any extra and just did the job according to the original estimate. He always replied promptly to any call or question. I am very satisfied and have since referred him to a friend. I will be using him for any masonry need in the future on my brick home.

Chris and his crew were on time, very professional, and very hard workers. Chris made several suggestions that actually saved us money! His estimate was very competitive with the other quotes we were given. I would hire him again in a minute given fact that he is honest, hardworking, great communication skills, the work was done on time and looks beautiful.

On time and communicated perfectly. Explained the step by step process including the chemical nature of the sealant used. Most importantly, the job looked great when done. My neighbor immediately had them over to treat his cement and he was equally pleased with the results.

Chris showed up as promised to give me an estimate of work to be done. His price was fair and after getting estimates from several contractors I decided to go with EMAC-Eagle Masonry and Concrete. He showed up on the date specified and finished the project on time and budget. He did an excellent job. Very knowlegable and proffesional. I am not an easy customer to please as I am a perfectionist. He met all my needs and I am completely satisfied. I plan to use him again for another project.

They are a little bit overpriced. The only thing I dislike is that they are an inch of a quarter off on one side but if you are not looking for it, you would not see it.

"Overpriced? The member told me that he had met with 8 different contractors over the period of twelve months and NONE of them wanted to do the job for various reasons. One whole year and they could not get ANYONE to do it. If my price was so high, then why did you go with me? I believe my price to fairly reflect the scope of work. I bought ALL the material for this project including concrete. The color he chose was the darkest colored, highest price concrete sold. As far as the "inch of a quarter" statement... I am not sure if he means a quarter inch or and inch and a quarter? Yes the concrete was off a quarter inch in 6 feet. The original brick steps AND footer was 2 inches out of square. We did everything we could to get the new concrete steps back square without pouring a new footer. I am sorry something so petty has caused my flawless, A average to be blemished. I am not happy with this report at all. There was a reason NO OTHER contractor would work for him. Apparently they were in fear of a false, negative report that would hurt their grade. I have gone above and beyond for every single one of my Angieslist.com customers and the other reports confirm this."

Chris with Eagle Masonry did a spectacular job on a new fence we had put in. Due to a time lapse since he had done a similar job, there was a difference in our original quoted price and the final price paid; however, instead of just coming out and doing the work, and then telling us, he contacted me right away via my preferred method of contact and asked how we would like to proceed. Above and beyond that, Chris completed the job in an extremely timely manner, even after realizing the ground he had to work with would have to be hand dug, something we were not aware of at all in the beginning. The fence is positively beautiful, and I am absolutely thrilled with the work that was done. At completion of the job I was already asking him about the next job we would like to have done (a new driveway). He was fast, efficient, and very professional the entire time.

Chris with Eagle Masonry was the guy for the job as soon as we met him. He was very knowledgeable and his price was fair. Overall it was a pleasent experince that didnt cause us to go over our budget. We recieved 2 other estimates and Eagle Masonrys price was right in the middle. Owner Chris Castellano provided extensive written estimates, explanations of work he suggested doing and came out to our property on numerous occasions to measure at no cost. He was prompt, very professional, and made contact either by phone or email to schedule work dates or reschedule due to the weather. The cost of service was very good and at no time was there any pressure to commit to suggested work. We will use Eagle Masonry and Contracting for any future improvements and repairs and would recommend the company highly - they were a pleasure to deal with. Thanks to Angie's List for pointing us in the right direction once again by listing good companies like Eagle Masonry and Contracting!
