"I had a great experience with ARS/Manassas thanks to John Curry, their knowledgeable and professional plumber. John provided an in-depth home inspection of my plumbing and educated me on the importance of venting my sinks to avoid moisture buildup, mold, corrosion, and bad odors. He also found that one of my toilets needed a new flapper valve/lift rod and corrected me on how I was using my garbage disposal, advising me to only use it for light particles stuck to my plate. To assist with the upkeep of my plumbing, John recommended that I buy a drain cleaning kit and even called his dispatch to schedule another member of his team to repair my toilet's lift rod. John Curry's expertise and helpfulness were much appreciated during the home inspection. He was professional, knowledgeable, and thorough in his work, and he took the time to educate me and provide valuable advice. Thank you, John Curry and ARS/Manassas!"

"Called him late Friday that our water supply was going on and off.  He asked if we could hold off till Monday and I told him surely as the water was working, but going.  He called SUNDAY just to make sure we were ok.  Told me a few suggestions to make sure the water stayed on.
Showed up on time and gave me a few options on repair and price.
Completed the job in the rain.
Fantastic attention to running a good business and treating his customers fairly.

"

We ended up not using them and have requested a refund.  We showed them a Big Deal offer of

a competitor that was charging $199 and that included a new toilet and removal of the old one and they would not bring their price down seeing as if we already had all new equipment ready to install."

"A courteous individual answered the phone to hear what was wrong.  The scheduler promptly called, who was also courteous.  The technicians called when they were in the area and arrived within minutes of that call.  The price provided was so reasonable, I decided to take precautionary actions to prevent the same thing from happening with 2 other toilets in the house.  Technician identified a protruding outdoor pipe that could lead to problems in the winter and suggested  corrective actions.  They accepted many forms of payment, which made it very convenient.  The technician was very professional and courteous. By the way, the plumber I called the day before could not arrive until after 5:00 and would only be prepared to give me an estimate and schedule the work.  By that time, the water damage would have been out of control.  3-D Roger Rooter is the bomb!

Toilets questions, answered by experts

Whether wall-mounted or floor-mounted toilets are better comes down to personal preference.

Overall, standard floor-mount toilets are less expensive to purchase and install, but they don’t offer the streamlined, modern appearance and adjustable height of wall-hung toilets. Ease of cleaning should also be considered, as wall-hung toilets are easier to clean than standard models.

Yes, you can pour water down the toilet to help it flush. For each flush, you’ll need 1 to 2 gallons of water for newer toilets or 3 to 5 gallons of water for older toilets. Rather than dumping the entire bucket in all at once, pour the water in slowly for the best results. If you’re pouring water down the toilet to help it flush after a clog, only use 1 gallon of hot water.

Some of the most common bathroom leaks include showers, sinks, and toilets. Most homeowners discover these leaks because of the chronic dripping sound faucets and showers make as water drips to the ground, but a leaky toilet will often appear as a puddle. Inspect your bathroom faucets, showers, and toilets every month to detect leaks quickly.

If you have to hold the toilet handle (also called the toilet lever) down to flush, you probably have a chain problem. A chain that cannot fully lift the flapper will close too early and not clear the toilet bowl. Try adjusting the chain length so there’s about ½ inch of slack.

Common problems include leaks, clogs, and low water pressure. Regular maintenance prevents major disruptions.
