"Ronnie was great to work with! He arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently to install the deadbolt we needed, used a drop cloth to catch any potential mess, and did it all with a friendly, professional attitude, and for a great price. What more could you ask for? We look forward to hiring him again in the future."

"Bill is a very experienced bathroom remodel person. He used the best parts available and happily explained to us all of the work as it progressed. He explained our options and accepted our choices readily. He kept the project on track and explained any delays that came up. We are very happy with the results of his work. Bill remodeled our master bathroom and our house hold bathroom."

"KDK is a family owned local company that is totally devoted to excellence. Dave and his team were amazing and made sure that we understood what was happening every step of the way. This was a full master bathroom remodel beginning demolition to remove everything down to the bones. Dave assisted with selecting all of the required supplies - tile, vanities, tub, toilet, lights, mirrors etc but all decisions were ours to make. We used Dave’s network of suppliers for the additional work required. We needed an electrician (MRS Solutions) since we opted for a heated floor and also a separate contractor (Brown’s Glass Shop) to install the glass shower. Everyone recommended by Dave was top notch and I will use them again for any projects that requires their expertise. To sum it up, we could not have asked for a better experience and to top it off Dave and his team are extremely friendly and personable, our dogs would welcome them back each day. Highly recommend and we will hire again."

"The entire process was much smoother than what Iâ ve had to deal with in the past with other companies. Premier HomePros was professional, on time when they showed up at my house and they were enjoyable to interact with in general. "Allen and Nate did an awesome job building my deck and patio. The custom work they did and my requests throughout were handled and completed professionally. Would not hesitate to hire them again. I actually am planning on other projects specifically for them to work on."

Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel questions, answered by experts

While a custom shower costs more and is trickier to install than a prefabricated type, tailoring the layout is particularly useful in small bathrooms with limited space and offers complete design freedom. You can build a shower bench for a family member with limited mobility or a shower niche (built-in, ingressed shelves) to hold clutter and act as a focal point.

Installing a clawfoot tub with a minimum of 6 inches of clearance from surrounding walls allows ample room for the faucet and pipework, makes cleaning easier, and reduces the chance of moisture being trapped between the tub and the walls. It might need to be closer if the faucet comes directly out of the wall.

Typically, a wet room costs more than a walk-in shower. Installing a walk-in shower costs an average of $6,700, but this price can go up for a customized shower with high-end materials. By comparison, the average price for building a wet room is $9,000, with the low end of this project hovering around $2,000 and going up to around $30,000 on the high end. Because a wet room often includes renovating the whole space, you’ll spend more on this project.

An alcove tub is designed to fit into a three-walled enclosure in a bathroom. A drop-in tub, on the other hand, is placed into a custom-built frame or enclosure. This frame can be fitted to an alcove, making a drop-in tub a viable alternative if you want a more custom or spa-like look. Because the frame is custom, drop-in tubs offer more design flexibility and a wider range of materials, such as cultured marble or tile, compared to the simpler acrylic or fiberglass of a typical alcove tub. The frame for a drop-in tub can also be placed anywhere in the bathroom it fits, not just in an alcove.

Adding a bedroom can increase a home’s value more than adding a bathroom, but it varies with factors like the location, age, and condition of the home. However, remember that you might also need to add a bathroom to the home, depending on how many bedrooms and bathrooms you currently have.
