"Let me start by saying I am a DIYer and was going back-and-forth in my head on whether I was going to do this job myself. However, I know that sanding hardwood floors is a scale and if you mess it up you have to live with that mistake. I researched local Fredericksburg hardwood floor resurfacing companies and found capital flooring. Nelson responded to my request within 30 minutes and came out that same day to give me a price quote. I was surprised at the cost of the total job. I was even a little skeptical at first. I’ve talk to locals who’ve stated there are some real scams out there. THIS IS NOT A SCAM! We scheduled a date and his crew showed up on time the morning of. It’s incredible how fast they work and how exceptionally well the floors look. They are very professional and proficient. They put plastic up all around the areas that accessed other rooms to keep the dust down. They even forewarned me every time they were turning the machine on because it’s loud. I’m so glad I hired capital flooring and I am exceptionally pleased with the product. They sanded off the top layer of my hardwood floors, mixed a stain that matched my new vinyl floors, and applied two coats of oil based polyurethane for the finish. "The company did a beautiful job in refinishing the hardwood floors on the 1st and 2nd levels; and a long staircase of my 1987 townhouse.  They took great care to minimize sawdust and any damage to the freshly painted and newly renovated space.  On final inspection of the floor there were a couple of areas that I requested be retouched.  They did not hesitate to promptly address my concerns and did a fantastic job.  The company worked with me on a very tight schedule, which I greatly appreciated.  In summary, I  am extremely happy with the floors and would highly recommend Madera Floors.
