"We received quotes from four companies - Drainage & Erosion Solutions' pricing was fair and the quality of their work & our experience with them seemed too good to be true. So much so that I've waited for nine months to post a review to be sure the drains they installed addressed the flooding issue. The project included installing five catch basin drains, over 70 feet of 4 inch drain pipe and another 70 feet of six inch drain pipes as well as replanting flower beds, regarding several areas, and installing river rock in two of the drainage beds. The drains have performed exceptionally well. What used to be a river forming on one side of our house, now quickly drains into five catch basin drains they installed. In addition, they were very concerned with aesthetics and made the drain areas look wonderful. They were prompt, professional, and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them. "A very nice contractor named Jeff Basham came to my home and did a thorough inspection of my problem. He informed me that products/services suggested by another company was not needed for my basement issue and showed me the leaking pipe that was actually causing the small mold growth. He informed me of future waterproofing needs of my home but confidently told me once the pipe was fixed and drywall was replaced, there would no longer be a problem. I will 100% call Jeff back when I have saved enough to get the waterproofing job completed."

"I found my basement had some mold then hired a handyman opened the drywall. The situation is severe than my expectation, so I use Angie's list to find someone who can fix it. The whole consultation and quotation process is not easy because basement waterproofing is not very common. How to fix it (fix it from inside or outside the basement) is the most important issue need to be clarified. Different contractor give me different proposals and the price are huge different even they recommended a similar solution, and their explanations cannot convince me. I am so happy finally I called Chris. He is very professional, not only told me to fix it exterior but also explained why. The whole work took 3 days and was completed good. They completed the exterior waterproofing and also replaced several downspouts with pop-up drain at the end. They also replaced one extra downspout (not related with the waterproofing work) for free. When they finished the work, they cleaned the site and spread the grass seeds and straws too. One week after they completed all work, one downspout has some leaking issues, I called Chris, and He sent his people to fix it in the second day and fixed it immediately. Now, my basement humidity levels can reach 45%-50% (before the waterproofing, it never lower than 70%)."

"It was fine. They did the job in two days. We questioned if the length of the drain pipe was enough - we didn't think it was actually long enough to go around the house but they said it would be fine. That's where the problem occurred. They didn't go further around the house. They put in box drains, but now there's flooding that comes around the house from the box drains. I'm having problems with my downspout now too. There's no enough length for it to drain out to the side out the house and it's backing up and flooding at the corner of my house and on the side of my house by the last box drain. I asked them to come out and take a look. They sent out a quality control person to take a look. He told me that it's doing the job that it's supposed to do, but it would need to be extended towards the front of the yard. He gave me a quote of $4,000. We already paid $8,000 for the work. I was shocked. We had asked them 3 times if they thought the length would have been enough. The quality control person talked to his boss and brought the price down to $3000, but that's ridiculous. I went with them because of good reviews on Angie's List, but when there's a problem they won't work with you. If they would have figured it out in the first place- it would have made their estimate a lot higher and I may not have worked with them. I had gotten estimate from other people but choice them. UPDATE: 8/11/2017 The contractor has resolved the issue with the drain system. He was responsive and he resolved the issue quickly to how we wanted it fixed. He responded quickly and it says a lot for his company. He took the reviews seriously and he wanted to make sure that the customer was satisfied and it is very important to him to keep up his good reputation being in Angie's List. This says a lot about their customer service!"

Mr. Lazaro puts his entire zeal and zest in the project and goes above and beyond the call of duty and professionalism. I was traveling heavy during the project and used to get reports from him using Skype. They responded very quickly and had someone out for the inspection a day later. Ed completed my inspection and was very informative and communicative throughout the whole process. He didnâ t try to scare me into getting any services and was very patient with me. Any questions I had he was on it and available. When I made my final decision it was quick and a painless process. The crew cleaned up well and walked me through the work they had done. They installed a new drain and sump pump.
