He provided information about the current health of the trees, listened to my concerns and understood my expectations and priorities during the pre-bid walk through at my home. He promptly assured me that the two different types of trees would benefit from different types of trimming due to the types, conditions and damage present in the wood. I was reassured to know that the trimming would not include tree branch topping or just whacking away at the tree branches. "As part of finishing the basement, I had asbestos removed from a 1928 house.  It was easier to remove the asbestos by demolishing the old ductwork, plus we wanted new ductwork with a lower profile.  My contractor brought in 3 companies for a bid.  Just Right wasn't the least expensive, but you could tell they "got it".  They knew we intended to finish the basement, and looked for ways to help maximize headroom.  They did a great job in keeping the ductwork neat and tight.  They ran new exaust vents for the dryer and for a new bathroom.  They also had to fashion custom connections between the new ductwork and the upstairs vents -- large in wall vents, not the 12" floor registers you'd find in new homes.  The did a great job, and were able to work on short notice.  They added new ductwork the day after the old asbestos ductwork was removed, so the house was not without heat for long.

"They came out on a Saturday, but could not finish the job, they had to come back on Monday morning to finish up. When they put the sink back together, they forgot to install back the garbage disposal. They also did not have too much knowledge of the piping and because of that, they only replace one for Spicket and only replace parts on another. When I tried to call to complain about the garbage disposal, they kept circling back to different phone numbers."

"Their quote for a high-efficiency furnace and heat pump combo from Daikin/Amana (what I was after) turned out to be better than the other two quotes I got for similar systems. Marty was friendly and seemed to answer most of my questions. The only issue was that even though I asked if I needed an extra part (a condensate pump) that the other companies had quotes I was told my system would be super smart and had sensors to handle the condensate. I didn?t press him but after install I asked the techs about the need for a condensate pump. They said it should have been added and I should get one to prevent damage to my cast iron drains. Unfortunately Blue Best has been pretty bad about responding to this and now wants $300 to install this part that they obviously missed during regular quoting and install ? a part that?s about $50. TL;DR: Competitive bid, friendly and professional staff, but won?t own that they dismissed my concerns and forgot to quote for or install an essential part."
