There are several ways to dry out flea eggs. Salt is safer and easier to apply, so shake it liberally over affected areas. Boric acid is another way to get rid of fleas and other insects, but this, too, can cause respiratory issues and health problems if inhaled or ingested.

Finding mouse droppings without seeing any mice is a common sign of an infestation because mice are nocturnal and skilled at hiding from humans. Droppings are often the first and most visible evidence of their presence. The location, quantity, and freshness of the droppings can help you determine where the mice are most active and how severe the infestation might be. Since mice are active at night and often travel through hidden pathways like inside walls, you may not see them directly. It's important to look for other signs of an infestation, such as gnaw marks, scratching sounds, or greasy trails along walls. If you find droppings, consider setting traps or contacting a professional exterminator to address the issue.

Seeing a rat or two isn’t uncommon, especially in mild climates. That doesn’t mean they are actively a danger to your home. The problem is when you start seeing rats regularly in your yard, there’s a good chance they are also looking for ways to get into your house or other buildings. All they need is a small hole or gap, and they have a new place to nest -- which is bad news for you. Stay cautious if you start seeing rats in your yard all the time. 

Deers have an extraordinarily strong sense of smell, which means they can react strongly to certain scents. Lavender, garlic, mint, cinnamon, clove, and human hair are some of the most offensive scents for deer. You can try mixing some of these pungent oils or scents with a spray mixture and adding them to your garden.
