Every time I have used Black Diamond Experts, I have never been disappointed, I had them for Generator, electric issues, Plumbing, Air Conditioner, Murray, David Ross, Kyle, Trent W, Were all professional and explained everything.

If you want to waste $15,000, come here! FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS. They will steal your money, lazily put your mini-splits, and need to return 5 times to fix it. We bought the mini-splits in March, and they have not consistently worked for more than two weeks at a time. One tech spent NINE hours here trying to fix it. Then needed to send someone else out the next week because the first guy couldn't repair it. They stopped working a couple weeks after that and more techs were sent out. We have had to adjust work schedules so many times for these fools to come out and temporarily "fix" the problem. One of the times the mini splits stopped working was during the 100+ degree days. They said they couldn't send out a tech to fix the mini splits but they could send someone else to set up a mini cooler until the mini splits got fixed. Here's an idea - don't put in $15,000 systems that stop working a few months after use and you won't need the mini cooler at all. The system come with a "12 year warranty." But don't worry - your systems won't last that long. Avoid this company at all costs. Straight up thieves.

Quick work well done

I just called to schedule service but was informed that Black Diamond will not work with property management companies. I let the customer service rep know I have worked with them many times in the past, and make payments with a credit card (That they have on file). She said that even with the credit card, they would not service property management. This is absolutely ridiculous, and I will not be using BD personally. I will also be leaving a review on different platforms. You deny service based on the form of payment(I TOTALLY understand not working on NET terms, but that is not what I was asking), not based on what type of business it is. Ridiculous. You just lost a very long-term customer. Great techs! Horrible management and ownership.

See photos. Fast forward 3 months and after an $15,000 new hvac install and we’ve had to call them for 4 warranty visits. I have had nothing but issues with this company. Here’s a list: 1) Terrible installation. Did not complete the exhaust pipe install out side leaving it exposed to birds the elements. E.g. no mesh covering and sticks out about 1 1/2 feet from the house and supper ugly. Later during a warranty call, we heard rattling and the install guys had closed the cover on the wires and left a lose screw in the blower fan… seriously!? 2) Never sent us an invoice after we paid and signed, even though we reviewed the invoice when we payed. I had to call to get an invoice which did not include the air purification system we paid for (which I had to call 3 or 4 times after install to get them to place the air purification after the fact) 3) After initial install the install tech forged my signature on the acceptable work form. To this day I’ve never signed off on the work done… pretty sure this is illegal. 4) During install the team cracked open the exhaust pipe leaving our family exposed to carbon monoxide… I can’t overstate how seriously negligent this is. Had a different hvac company fix this for $300 even though it was still under warranty just because I didn’t want to play games anymore with Black Diamond. 5) When Black Diamond initially installed, we signed up for their maintenance plan. However the tech didn’t grab our card info and they canceled the plan without telling us… essentially nullifying any workmanship warranty for work done while under their plan… pretty dirty trick or just plain negligence. 5) Our AC went out the week before 4th of July and they scheduled about 5 days out on 4th of July, promised they’d be there and then we got a call saying the guys supposed to install just didn’t show up and they couldn’t get anybody over… it was 102 degrees. Totally unacceptable. They should have got the the service managers out here. We’re all adults and sometimes you have to work a holiday. Especially if it’s an emergency. If there is anything you should take away from this: run as far as you can from this company. I have been generous and understanding for 3 months but the exhaust pipe being broken and putting our family in danger was the final straw. Now that it’s fixed I will be calling into get them to come fix the protruding pipe on the roof because it should be covered… absolutely outrageous. I’m going to be reporting them to the BBB the local state consumer protection agency as well. Fed up with the games and shoddy workmanship.

I was very happy with how fast we got on the schedule. The Black Diamond Team arrived on time and called ahead to let me know that the technicians were on their way. They wore protective covers on their shoes so they didn't track dirt into my house. Much appreciated! They quickly diagnosed the problem and got us back up and running. They even looked at some of my other home concerns while they were there. I appreciate that they didn't mind me asking so many questions. My family has used them for electric and HVAC repairs. We had old loose outlets at one point. They replaced 3 rooms of outlets. Great job guys!

Black Diamond came out and replaced our main sewer line. Their estimate was very comparable to the other estimates I received, and I couldn't be happier I chose them! The work was done in a timely manner and the technicians were very courteous, keeping me informed with each step of the process. Thank you Black Diamond!

Rusty Spencer inspected my mini split where the pump was making more than regular noise. I assumed it was because my tenant was keeping it on 24/7 at 65 degrees but brought him in to assess. He said he found residue from a fitting that showed signs of a leak. Said that there was specific protocol in dealing with mini splits; a line assessment, draining of freon and precise refilling. The cost would be around $2,600.00 (more than the unit and installation to begin with). The unit is only four years old and I expressed dismay that it would be this much, he insisted it had to be done this way and that he would send a break down of costs. Meanwhile, I called in another expert who said; the residue was old and dried, most likely happened during installation, and if there were any problems at all with the unit, there would be an error code that would come up on the digital panel (something Rusty failed to mention). He assessed that my tenant was running the unit at too low a temperature for too long which was causing the pump to constantly be kicking on. Sound familiar? This cost me $150. So, Rusty, you thought this "little lady" wouldn't know better than to suspect you were trying to defraud her? Shame on you. I never received the full assessment either... Black Diamond, you are top in reviews in the state, which is why I hired you, but you appear to be running a scam directed at what you think are unsuspecting, ignorant people who know nothing of construction or sub contractors. Bad assumption.

They over charge me and that is ridiculous.

After several years of working with Black Diamond, we were sorely disappointed with our recent service. We were trying to replace the leaking pressure toilet mechanisms in two of our toilets with a traditional mechanism. Simply scheduling a visit proved to be a problem as we faced cancellations, the first plumber broke and had to replace a fitting, and our phone number was attached to the wrong job. We called to reschedule what we hoped was the final call, but the plumbers showed up at the originally scheduled time, having not gotten the message that the appointment had been rescheduled. And then they finally revealed that they couldn't in fact make the replacement we requested. We are left now with only one functioning toilet.

They were very easy to work with.

I've used Black Diamond electricians more than 5x, plumbers once and HVAC twice in the last year (I have a few rentals). I can't recommend this company strongly enough right now. They always fit me in within 2 weeks, always call and text 20-30 minutes before the appointment and show up on time. So far, their work in all areas has been exceptional and reasonably priced! Last week, a tenant messed up their own ceiling fan. The Black Diamond electrician said it was an easy fix and bc I'd given them so much work and a few referrals didn't charge me anything. Every employee I've talked with from the receptionists, a supervisor and every single professional tradesperson has been polite, efficient and considerate. I *highly* recommend this company for HVAN, plumbing and electrical.

Hampton did an excellent job. He was efficient and thorough, very personable and easy to work with. This is the third time I have used Black Diamond for HVAC and electrical and I have been very satisfied every time. Recommend them anytime.

Great job relocating switches. Impressed he reattached the large cutout he had to create to go the length of the wall. Vacuumed the area after he was done. This was our 2nd time we used Black Diamond and would highly recommend them.

The repairman called to let me know he was running late. When he arrived, he listened to my concerns. Then he promptly got his plumber's snake and worked on the drain. It took less than fifteen minutes to complete the job from his arrival to creating a fully working drain. When he returned from going to his vehicle, I went to pay him, and he informed me there was no charge. He had called his manager, and after discussing the situation with him, he was told there wouldn't be any charge. This job was on them. I was floored, to say the least. He said he didn't feel comfortable charging me to open a pipe under eight feet in length, and which took less than fifteen minutes to handle. I was quoted $39 over the phone, and again when he arrived to do the job. Another company wanted to charge me $385. When I balked at that cost, it was immediately reduced to $200. I didn't have that amount of money, due to my limited income. So being told there was no charge, meant I could afford medications. I can't tell you how impressed I was with both the integrity, professionalism and work of this company. I would use them again. But do expect to pay for those services!

Excellent. Stetson came to our home on Saturday afternoon, diagnosed the problem, repaired it and was gone in 1 1/2 hours. Knowledgeable, professional and personable. Very pleased with timing, price and approach.

Our sewer back up into our house. I had black diamond coming to fix the pipes. Turns out my main sewer line coming out of the foundation needed to be trenched and repaired. I got multiple quotes but the other companies were shady when selling the job. Black Diamond was a no BS quote, this is how much it cost, this is exactly what we are doing, call me if you want us to fix it, and they tried to save me money when they could. They weren’t the cheapest quote I got but I’m glad I went with them! They were honest and not pushy at all. What the quote said is exactly how much I paid. They didn’t needless find more repairs. When they came out to do the repair they showed up with in the time they said they would and got the repairs done in the amount time they said they would. I highly recommend using black diamond!

I have used Black Diamond twice now to service my air conditioner. Every technician has been so helpful, and has gone above and beyond to explain what they were doing, and Garrett was no different. My experience Saturday was especially positive. I had a problem they don't normally handle, but Darla and Claudia went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of in the heat. Thank you so much!
