"Kyle was a highly skilled professional who ended up creating gutter guards for the size of my patio gutters as "no" company that I had tried before would even attempt to do so. He was very professional and courteous and I would highly recommend his service."

"I was pleasantly pleased and totally appreciative of the quick scheduling and excellent service. I needed a gutter installed within one week. I had purchased vinyl gutter from a big box store to do it myself, but was struggling with other repairs and needed help. The team at Superior offered their seamless gutters and speedy service with a smile. It was a straightforward job (30 ft, two downspouts, straight) and they were in and out within an hour and a half. Their bid was a bit higher than the one I had received from the roofing/window contractor who had worked on our home previously, but the service and timing made Superior an easy choice."

Gutter Repair and Replacement questions, answered by experts

On average, gutters need to be replaced every 20 years. Unprotected gutters in more extreme weather conditions are more prone to breaking and may need to be replaced sooner. Meanwhile, proper maintenance can extend your gutter’s life span even further. That said, proper installation, gutter hangers to provide additional support, and gutter guards or helmets all play an important role in how long your gutters last.

Once you’ve installed your gutters, you'll need to maintain them. You should clean your gutters once or twice a year to keep them functioning correctly. But if climbing a ladder and scooping out handfuls of wet leaf gunk is just not your thing, you can hire a professional gutter cleaner near you to do the job.

Most repairs take 2-4 hours, but extensive repairs or full section replacements may take an entire day.

If you don't repair your home’s gutter leaks, water or the gutters themselves can damage your home’s siding, roofing, foundation, and landscaping. Untreated leaks encourage mildew, mold, and rot, depending on the type of siding material. The foundation, chimney, window frames, and drywall can also crack over time, leading to costly repairs.

Frequently, when water flows over gutters, it indicates a potential clog, necessitating cleaning. For instance, if a twig becomes lodged in the downspout, it can lead to a traffic jam, causing more leaves and sticks to accumulate. Another potential issue is an incorrect pitch, as gutters should channel water toward the downspout. If you observe water overflowing the end cap or leaking through it, it suggests that your gutters are improperly tilted.
