"Hey [Member Name Removed], Jeremiah here, owner of Dr. Downspout. My apologies for wasting your time yesterday. We made a couple of mistakes that I freely take responsibility for. One: My assistant made the mistake of scheduling you on my Admin/Payroll day. I was planning on taking care of you anyway, since she had recorded gutter cleaning for a small home, which was mistake number two. Small homes I can service in about an hour. I looked up your home on google earth and street view and realized your home would take 3 to 4 hours to properly service. These were our mistakes. We scheduled you on a challenging day and we underestimated the difficult / price of servicing your home. I asked my assistant to call you to reschedule for the next day and to let you know the price would be more than originally quoted. You freely expressed your unhappiness to my hard working assistant and again here on Angie's list. It is unfortunate that we made mistakes in scheduling your job. It's also unfortunate that requesting a schedule change (to the next day) and fixing a pricing mistake triggered this level of dissatisfaction. We wish you well in your search for a different company to take care of your gutter system."
That is what we experienced.
