Eventually I decided to go with vinyl siding if a suitable unpainted color could be found. On the basis of Angie's list reviews I contacted Jenn at K.R. Siding about colors to see if any would be close enough to use without painting. She referred me to two suppliers where I checked out colors. None were suitable, but both had aluminum siding similar to what I needed. I checked back with K.R. and they could do the job with aluminum for the same price as vinyl. In addition, they could do the job on short notice before snow came to complicate the job. Jeff came out on Halloween and did a great job; the new siding looks terrific. I recommend them highly.

They got the job done right and it looks great. They worked with the insurance company to resolve differences in estimates and the insurance company agreed to their charges.

The technician who conducted the job was quick and efficient in his work. He came with professional diagrams and measurements of what needed to be done. He was professional in his appearance and speech and the manner in which he worked around my yard.

First crew did not do job right. Owner came to redo job and finish. He did much better job and was prompt. If the first crew never came, it would have been a much better experience

"The customer paid for a coupon for a leaf protection system, of UP TO 100' installed. The customer was contacted about the details and scheduling. The customer's house was less then the 100' coupon. When the installer showed up, as scheduled, he did not have enough product to do the job. When the customer was contacted about the details and schedule, he failed to mention that he had a detached garage/shed he wanted the services on as well. If he had instructed us that it was for the house and the garage, the installer would have had the proper amount of materials. Material is not stocked on the installation vehicles, but it is loaded each day with the qty for each project(s) of the day. The installer performed the work on the HOUSE, as per original details given by the homeowner, but it was to late to pick up more product to do the detached garage/shed. The customer was notified, that he was not being "cheated", and the additional work was re-scheduled AND included under his original purchased Angie's List coupon. The work was performed by another installer (not the owner) since the first installer had other projects to complete, not because he did it wrong. The customer 'failed' to mention all of this in his review. In the end he received exactly what he purchased, there was no poorly work performed, he was not cheated or charged more, but he felt he needed to leave a bad review based on his own negligence and/or his lack of communication."

He initially put in something to save me money but it was not done right. We asked him to take it off and redo the whole thing which he did well!! Happy with final product. Would use in future and make sure Mike tells you what he is going to do. He needs to understand what you exactly want

I have called over twenty gutter companies who have advertised in the paper. K R siding is the first company who has returned my call. He came out fairly quickly to see the house and give an estimate. They replaced the gutter when I wasn't home and everything seems to be in order. My only complaint would be that the driveway, porch and garage door were spattered and dirty.

Great! The first guy, Mark, came and looked at all the things I wanted done and promptly sent an estimate. I wanted a lot of new things done; i.e. new rain gutter where there had not been any before, new fascia and soffits, etc. The estimate turned out to be more than I could afford so he worked with me and helped me get to a place that would work. The installer arrived on time and worked hard for probably 5 hours. Replaced all the gutters and installed the new section of gutter. Fixed a gutter on the garage that previously had not been draining and now flows downwards toward the drain pipe. He readjusted lots of the drain pipes so they flowed out onto the gardens and flowerbeds rather than the driveway. I have a gravel roof and It makes quite a mess, so he had to empty a lot of the gravel that was in the gutter out onto the porch and driveway. He swept it up a little but I had to do a lot of that after he left. That would be my only complaint. It has not rained since they were installed yesterday, so I don't know how them work yet. But I am not worried. The installer was very professional and courteous and the new gutters look great!

We never actually had them to do the work because we ended up getting raid off the week before they were going to do the work. So I cancelled the job to save money.
