"I am absolutely thrilled with the bathroom remodel! The process was seamless and the team that handled the remodel was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. The new fixtures and finishes give the space a modern and updated look that completely transforms the feel of the room. It is calming and spa-like. The installation, by Coleton and Breydan, was done with great attention to detail, ensuring that everything was perfectly aligned and installed correctly. The team also kept the area clean and tidy throughout the entire process, which I really appreciated. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the quality of work that was done and the level of service that was provided. My bathroom will be a place where I can relax and unwind (once I finish the painting), and it's all thanks to the excellent work of the team that handled the remodel. I would highly recommend 5 Star, and ask for Coleton and Breydan, for anyone looking to update the look of any room in their house! Pictures to be posted in the near future."

"The installers were great. The salesperson made promises that he did not keep and he missed a window. When the person came to measure he also didn’t catch that I was having all my windows done except one. The windows look great. The response when I notified the co that one window was missed was very fast but added to my cost."

"Really great service, windows came in way quicker than we expected. The windows are absolutely gorgeous and match wood work perfectly. The sound of trains has diminished and I can already feel the difference inside the home. Great experience!!"

Window Door Contractors questions, answered by experts

While the telltale signs can vary for different types of screen doors, it may be time to learn how to install a screen door if you're noticing rotting, warping, or splintering accompanying the sagging. If you’re unsure whether to replace a sagging screen door, consult a local screen door pro for an inspection and final decision.

You can add any type of window to a brick house, so long as the window has proper support. Windows with wider openings and windows in brick walls will need a lintel to support the extra weight above the window frame. A lintel is a support beam that distributes the weight from above evenly around the window.

Window screens are available in several standard sizes. Common dimensions include 24 to 36 inches wide by 36 to 48 inches tall, as well as sizes like 18 by 14 inches and 20 by 20 inches. These often correspond to standard window sizes, such as 2 feet wide by 3 feet tall or 4 feet wide by 6 feet tall. Screens are also sold in replacement rolls to accommodate various dimensions. It is always best to measure your windows for accuracy before a repair or replacement. If your windows are a non-standard size, you will likely need to order custom screens, which can increase the cost. However, a screen does not necessarily have to fit the entire window, so you may be able to use a standard-size screen even if your window is slightly larger.

The most affordable way to screen in a porch is to add a base track system to an existing wooden frame. The whole process should cost around $2,000 for supplies, depending on the size of your porch. It’s much pricier to build a screened-in porch or sunroom from scratch—and you’ll probably need to hire a contractor for a project like that.

Screen repair is always worthwhile, as tears and holes in your windows and door screens are unsightly and allow pests and debris into your home, rendering the screen useless. The faster you repair your screens, the faster you can open your windows and doors freely to let the fresh air in. Consider repairing multiple door and window screens during one appointment with a screen repair technician to make the investment and labor costs worth it.
