"From the quote to the end of the job was great, communication was excellent, the roof and materials all look great. Our Roof was definitely in need of replacement and Mad Roofing did a great job. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family and Hire them again for future needs."
"These guys were fast, reliable, and super cooperative with our circumstances. We were adding a roof to the home we were buying and they were very understanding and did great work!"
"If you need a roof done right, call Trevor Meadows. He just finished a full roof replacement on my home, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From start to finish, Trevor was professional, dependable, and took real pride in his work.
He treated my home with care, paid close attention to the details, and made sure everything was done cleanly and efficiently. The craftsmanship is top-notch—my roof looks amazing and I know it’s built to last.
What really stands out is Trevor’s character. He’s honest, hardworking, and genuinely cares about doing a great job. No shortcuts, no surprises—just solid work and clear communication the whole way through.
I’d recommend Trevor to anyone without hesitation. If you want peace of mind and quality work, he’s the guy to call."
"Being a disabled veteran it gets hard finding a good company. Yet, this company went way above and beyond for me. I had a minor leak coming from my roof that made its way into a basement room. Victor, my amazing repair person, found a small hole the previous builder hid at initial construction at the corner of second floor slash roof. The flashing wasnt done right and the hole allowed the water to work its way down. After 20yrs of this minor leaking it destroyed my wall, damaged the rock, and even worked its way to the beginning of the flooring above the basement room. The pictures show what 20yrs of a tiny leak can do. What a simple minor leak looked like, was actually a monster that damaged alot. They fixed everything to perfection, even found a second minor issue after fixing the flashing. The rain was also working its way behind gutter and because he was working in the rain he fixed that too. Yes he was working in rain. I couldn't ask for a better job done. Google has more detail"
"If you want good service for a low price this is the company to go with. It seems that most roofing companies are corporation owned or function like it (overpriced and impersonal) Viking is owned by a guy that stands by his bid and work. If I had more roofs to be done I would definately go with Viking again."
"Edgar was there to supervise every step of the way, and was extremely great to work with. We completely replaced the roof with new shingles, added new guttering all around the home with the leaf guard system, and intalled heat wiring. They capped off the roof turtle venting, and added a new roof line venting system. They have done a terriffic job. I would highly recommend them."
"David cleaned, caulked vents, nailed loose shingles, and applied sealant to our roof. He is great about communication, arrived when he said he would, pricing is very fair, and was such a pleasure to work with. We will eventually need a new roof and would not hesitate to use him as our roofer."
"Quick to come by and give an estimate. Once we decided to get it done the appointment was set within a week. 2 days work one to tear off and prep. the 2nd day we had a new roof completed. Cesar and his crew are very professional. I would highly recommend them."
"Aspen Roofing installed a high quality underlayment and a strong, new metal roof over the large parking structure and two small garages at our cabin at 8,200 ft in Tollgate Canyon. They were easy to work with. The quality of their work is top notch. The roof is now in its second winter with no leaks. I am confident this roof will last for decades with no leaks despite heavy winter snowfalls and extreme temperature variations. I sleep well at night thinking about the quality of this roof."
A well-maintained tile roof can last anywhere from 40 to over 100 years, with its exact lifespan depending on the material and level of care. Proper maintenance, which includes keeping the roof clean, free of debris, and performing routine repairs for any cracked tiles, is crucial for longevity. The lifespan varies significantly by tile type:
Clay, terracotta, and slate tiles are highly durable and can last over 100 years.
Concrete tiles typically last from 30 to 100 years.
Metal tile roofs generally last between 40 and 70 years.
Composite tile roofs have a lifespan of 20 to 50 years.
Be aware that maintenance for a tile roof can sometimes be more expensive than for an asphalt roof.
Whether a metal or shingle roof is better for you depends on your preferences. Standing seam metal roofs require little to no maintenance, but if you install a screw-down metal roof where the fasteners are exposed, the gaskets on the fasteners will dry rot and need to be replaced. Generally, screw-down metal roofs need to be re-screwed every 15 to 20 years.
Metal roofs are energy-efficient and have extended warranties, while asphalt shingles are less durable than most. They tend to lose color and get damaged over time, and absorb heat from the sun.
You should tarp a roof whenever roof damage occurs. Missing shingles and holes in your roof can cause roof leaks and problems that come with them. Tarping is a quick way to provide temporary roof protection while you wait for a professional roofer to make repairs.
Roof blistering and hail damage are different in their physical appearance. Blistering, often caused by inadequate ventilation, low-quality material, and improper installation, looks like large, irregular bubbles popping out of your roof. Meanwhile, hail damage is usually circular or oval dents entering your roof and often follows the same path as the hail storm.
No, a chimney crown is not the same as a chimney cap. A chimney crown is a flat cement area on top of a masonry chimney. It starts where the masonry part of the chimney ends at the very top and domes upward toward the flue opening. A chimney cap sits on top of the crown over the flue. It is usually made of metal and allows smoke to escape without letting in rainwater.
