Here at Ember Outdoor Kitchens (formerly Q4U Outdoorz) we build completely custom outdoor kitchens, fire features, and metal gates. We are Austins premier outdoor kitchen builder and would love to help create your own backyard masterpiece. Give us a call today to schedule a visit.

"Spent about 5 months calling various contractors (6) for a simple "L" shape outdoor kitchen. Received quotes ranging from 12K-25K with the average being about 15K. I called Ember and was quoted less than 7K for building material and labor. Needless to say, I went went Ember and was extremely happy with the service. Project took 2.5 days. Crew showed up when they said they would and performed work with no issues. Throughout the project, they ensured they kept the patio clean, always sweeping dust and rocks created from the project. Dwayne was very responsive to text/emails and answered any questions I had. I was very please with Ember Outdoor Kitchens and would recommend them to anyone."

"I contracted Andy Kalnasy from Q4U Outdoorz grill to repair the ignition system in my DCS 30" gas grill. Andy charges $60 cash for the grill evaluation and then will send you a summary of the parts and labor needed for the repair. I received his summary of the parts and labor cost ($489.70) to repair the ignition system for a grand total of $547.70. I approved the repair cost and Andy returned a week or so later and completed the repair. I told Andy I wanted to put the $489.70 on a credit card (which they accept per their website) but he asked me if I could write a check instead, which I did. The second time I tried to light my grill there was NO spark coming from the ignition module. I replaced the battery to make sure that wasn't the problem, which it wasn't. So, I emailed Andy and asked him to return to my home to look at the grill, to which he said NO. He indicated he did not replace the ignition button or module and that was probably the problem. He wanted another $150/per hr. to look at my grill again. I asked him if he guaranteed his work to which he indicated "only the parts I replaced". I tried to stop payment of the check but of course he cashed it the very same day, knowing I could have contested a charge on my credit card. So, be aware of this guy and his business practices. Charging someone almost $600 to fix the ignition system and not replacing the ignition button or module is unacceptable! I would strongly recommend NOT using this guy or company."

With Certified Plumbing the professional coming to your home will have 20+ years of plumbing experience. You can count on straight forward pricing and a personal commitment to quality as our work is a reflection of us. Give us a call and you'll see what a low-overhead plumbing service can save you. Certified Plumbing Supports Energy and Water Conservation For Example: Tankless water heating systems are revolutionizing the way modern homes meet their water heating needs. These compact units can produce and supply endless streams of hot water to multiple outlets at once without any fluctuation in temperature. Because conventional water tanks heat and store hot water around the clock, you are heating and re-heating water, and constantly losing energy. A tankless water heater only comes on when you start to use hot water, and immediately shuts off when you are done, so you are not wasting energy. Tankless water heaters have much more effective heat exchanger and burner systems than conventional tanks. This allows you to utilize a much higher percentage of your energy. So much so that there is up to a $300 Federal Energy Tax Credit when you purchase one for your home and for certain residents, TX Gas Service provides a rebate up to $300. Modern tankless units cost more than conventional tank type water heaters, but are a better value. The energy saved typically results in payback in a few years or less. They save money every day, provide a high level of performance and safety, and last twice as long as a normal tank type heater. They save floor space and have a unique flexibility to be placed in locations closer to points of use to further cut energy cost and reduce water consumption. Trip Charge/Estimate: $39.00 - Deducted from final price if you choose Certified Plumbing to complete the work. The Plumber coming to your home will have 20+ years of plumbing experience. Gas Logs questions, answered by experts

Take this one seriously! If your oven smells like gas when it’s off, this is a telltale sign of a gas leak that can lead to a fire or explosion. In addition, a small leak has the potential to turn into a major leak without warning if any part of your piping or tubing breaks. Potential sources of a leak include the gas valve, burner, joint, or connection lines behind the stove. If the leak appears to be significant, you should contact the gas company or fire department.

In North America, pipe measurements are listed as the nominal pipe size (NPS). This measurement refers to the outside diameter. As an example, a 1/2-inch copper pipe has an outside diameter of 5/8 of an inch. If a hardware store lists a pipe as having a 2 NPS, it means that all the pipes with this measurement have a 2 ⅜-inch outside diameter, regardless of wall thickness and inside diameter.

Many people find switching from an electric stove to a gas stove well worth the hassle. After all, gas stoves last up to 15 years, whereas most electric stoves only last up to 13 years. Plus, the sentiment and joy of cooking over a real fire is indeed irreplaceable—and offers more precise temperature controls than electric cooktops. The cost of converting an electric cooktop to a gas stove depends on whether your kitchen already has gas supplies, and the cost can range from $125 to $2,000. Also, make sure your new stove’s dimensions match the old one.

Local codes often mandate specific fittings, permits, and vent considerations for permitted function and safety, which are enforced by professionals.

In some ways, yes, and in some ways, no. As for how they’re the same, propane and gas both burn via the same process, combustion, and at the same temperature, around 3,600 degrees Fahrenheit. The difference is that propane produces more heat per unit than gas. One cubic foot of propane contains 2,516 BTU, while one cubic foot of gas contains 1,030 BTU.
