"We actually signed up for a quote at the Texas State Fair. The sale rep came out and gave us a very good price. The day of the installation day came - the 3 man crew showed up on time, moved all the furniture (5 rooms), took out the old carpet and installed the new carpet in 6 hours. They cleaned up their mess 100% leaving no trace they had even been there. We are impressed with the company - pricing, quality and the installation. We will use them again in the future."

Recently relocated to Grayson County. We've been serving Texas and other states for 13 years in building ground up commercial buildings, additions, and renovations. We specialize in structural steel fabrication and erection, custom steel fabrication, gates and entryways. We were designing and building Barndominiums before people knew what they were. We do the job right or not at all. We guarantee our work, and we often takeover failing or abandoned projects and get the project completed. We've built and have tore down and rebuilt many very large churches. We've done a lot of historical renovations and dealt woth the historical regulations, etc. We've done a lot of work at The Grandscape in The Colony Tx. "I was very pleased with the installation of my new porcelain tiles. The price was very competitive and the installers did an excellent job from prep to installation and even to the cleanup afterwards. I waited a few months to post the review just to see how well the flooring has held up, and there have been zero issues even in high-traffic areas. Highly recommended!"

"Jorge came out to do a measure and templete of my countertops, he arrived on time and very professional. I told him that I wanted to do the backsplash later he explained that I should go ahead and remove the tile backsplash because the counter tops would not fit in perfectly unless we removed the current tile backsplash. I asked him if he would remove it and put up drywall, and he said that wouldn't be a problem. They scheduled my install out about two weeks, and on the day of install they arrived on time and ready to work. It is a very messy process, and the smell can be quite intense so I would advise not having your children at home on the day of install. I thought that I could do the backsplash myself but after some research I am having second thoughts. I will probably call Jorge to come out and do the backsplash now. He's affordable and clearly knows what he is doing.

"Gary was very patient with us picking out or tile and floor and questions. He got back with us quick with the answers. Enrique did the work and was very nice also and did great work. Retextured the ceiling, installed floor and also tiled the new shower and installed cabinets, new toilet and shower doors. Also kept the house clean when they were working. I recommend them for all of that."

Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts

While you shouldn’t use thinset mortar on its own as a floor leveler, it can work alongside other products to help level floors. For instance, you could start with a self-leveling compound, let that dry, then apply backer board with thinset mortar to help fully even out the floors ahead of laying tile.

Figure out how much tile you need by measuring the backsplash area. Measure the height and length in feet and multiply to get the square footage. Don’t make adjustments for outlets or small cutouts but subtract the square footage for windows or other large obstructions from the total. To account for waste, get 10% more than your calculation.

Like glass tiles, you will not need to seal most porcelain tiles, particularly if the porcelain is already glazed. It depends on quality. Porcelain is very water resistant, but it is not 100% waterproof. To avoid staining, some homeowners use a penetrating sealer. It is also a good idea to seal your grout. Unless you use epoxy grout, grout is very porous and can harbor bacteria, mold, and mildew.

Yes, you can install a backsplash directly onto drywall, provided the wall is properly prepped, clean, and dry. For best results, especially in kitchen areas, your walls should be made of moisture-resistant drywall, often called green board. If your current wall isn't moisture-resistant, it's recommended to replace it before installing the backsplash. For even greater protection against water damage, you can remove the existing drywall and install a tile backer board or cement board instead. While properly installed standard drywall is typically strong enough to support a backsplash, some local building codes may require water-resistant materials in kitchen areas, so it's a good idea to check.

Phone jack installation can be a complicated project that requires cutting holes into just the right location in the wall and running delicate wiring. This sort of job is best left to the professionals.
