"The Versatility Mills crew did an awesome job with this project. Took the time to listen to my issues/concerns and offered great feedback. I was provided with a written quote and the follow up was great. They did exactly what they said they would do and took great care with removing the limbs that covered my home and my neighbors homes. Very grateful that I came into contact with them and decided to have them do the work."

"Tony and his crew did an outstanding job removing an old fence and replacing it with a brand new fence. Before the project Tony walked me through the various materials that were available so I could make an informed decision. During the work Tony and his crew were quick and efficient in removing the old fence, cleaning up the area, installing the new fence, and removing the old materials after the project was completed. Throughout the process Tony communicated updates on the project so that I was informed of the next steps. The new fence looks outstanding and I will definitely be recommending Dobi General Contractors to others and using them for future projects."

"Gary Ripp was very easy to talk to. I appreciate that he took the time to explain his process. I all so love that when I called, I got to speak to the person who would be doing the work and not a gatekeeper. He did a great job and had lots of good advice on how to do the most good for my lawn and garden. I hired him to remove a large stump in a hard to reach spot, and he did an excellent job and worked quickly. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs any kind of lawn improvement."

Topsoil costs from $12 to $55 per cubic yard, depending on the type you choose. For example, screened black dirt will cost about $15 per cubic yard. Loam (soil composed of sand, silt, and clay) costs about $17 per cubic yard. Standard screened topsoil costs about $20 per cubic yard. The type of topsoil you need depends on your landscaping plans.
Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.

Mulch costs anywhere from $30 to $150 per cubic yard, depending on the type you choose. On the inexpensive end, red and black mulch are about $35 to $40 per cubic yard, and are typically made from recycled waste wood like shredded old pallets or deck material. Cedar, cypress, and rubber mulch cost anywhere from $100 to $120 per cubic yard. A pro can help you determine the type of mulch most suitable for your landscaping needs.
Yes, you will want to confirm that the tree removal company you hire is insured before proceeding with the job. Tree removal can be dangerous work, and it's important to verify that the company carries the proper insurance to cover any onsite accidents or damage.
