"My family and I started the process of getting a generator back in May. We signed the necessary documents and work began the beginning of June. The main purpose of us getting a generator was for us to no longer be without power during Texas horrible storm season. We have an elderly disabled veteran and now a 9-month-old that resides here so it was imperative that we got the generator. This business lacks communication and accountability! We had to reach out several times in order for them to complete this process. After Hurricane Beryl left us without power for four days, they finally came and completed the job. NOW..we have a d*** gas leak!!! We called them regarding this and they made it seem as if this was normal and would send someone out to look. That never happened. Our neighbor ended up calling Centerpoint due to smelling gas and that's when it was discovered that we had a gas leak. This could've ended tragically for my family and myself and even the neighborhood. Since Centerpoint was here, they did end up shutting off the generator. So now we're back to square one with no generator and no phone call from when this matter will be resolved from the d*** company after I've made several phone calls, text messages, and emails."

"I do not understand how this company's Angie's list has any good reviews. They come door to door selling their services and equipment under Brinks while operating as Onit. The salesman were nice but everything that succeeded this was less than stellar. It is nearly impossible to reach their customer service and "Lou" the salesman who had helped me ended up ignoring my calls and text messages after a month long exchange that had never resolved. He had promised that Onit will send a rebate buying out the contract for the previous security company that my family had been using. I would have never switched over to Onit had I known that this was never going to be followed up with. On top of the equipment cost I had to pay 19.99 for the monitoring service with Onit and 39.99 for my previous service for the next year that I can no longer use since they had uninstalled the previous hardware. I had paid for my equipment within 6 months of the 2 year contract to avoid any interest fees but had nearly immediately canceled my monitoring service afterwards as I don't want to support a company with such scummy business practices and poor customer service. I've only come to find out today that they have lost ALL records of my cancellation the previous year and have sent me an invoice for the "last 12 months of service" that I had received. My SECOND cancellation was easy and Maribel was able to help me the same day but I am still extremely upset with having to deal with this company again after I thought they were out of family's problems. Do yourself a favor and get a Ring alarm and avoid this company like the plague."

"Signature Cabling Solutions did an Exceptional job at my home. My wife and I wanted to install video surveillance cameras around the perimeter of our home. I wanted hard-wired cameras because: a) hard-wired cameras are more reliable; b) I didn't want to have to change batteries in a wireless camera; c) I wanted the system to work even if my Internet was down. In addition, I wanted all the video stored locally in my home ... again, because I didn't want to depend on the Internet. We got lucky with employee "Lucky", who is expert at what he does. After an initial consultation visit to our home, Lucky returned a few days later with the wire, six 4K cameras, and NVR for the install. He spent several hours climbing in the attic, running a couple hundred feet of Cat 6 cable to the perimeter around the house, installing the 6 cameras, home-running all wiring to a central location in our home, aiming each camera, and configuring each camera to work with our nifty "NVR" (Network Video Recorder). In addition to being able to view any camera from a phone or tablet, Lucky installed additional hardware for "HDMI over Cat 6" and connected the NVR to two televisions in our home. Now, we can switch the HDMI input on one or both TVs to view any one or all six cameras on our televisions. I don't often write reviews. But Signature Cabling Solutions deserves my strongest endorsement. I highly recommend their expertise and quality of work! They are also very friendly and easy to work with."
