"I hired Devin to weld a custom pipe fence for my backyard in Van, Texas, and he absolutely crushed it! From the first call to the finished product, Devin was professional, on time, and a true craftsman. He listened carefully to what I wanted, gave great suggestions, and the welding work is flawless—super strong, clean beads, and the fence looks amazing. It’s sturdy enough to keep the dogs in but still has that clean, modern look that fits the yard perfectly. He even cleaned up the site better than I expected and made sure everything was exactly right before he left. If you need any welding or fencing done, Devin is the guy to call. 100% recommend—five stars all the way! Thanks Devin!"

"Integrity Tree Service was absolutely phenomenal. Tim and his crew did an amazing job. They responded within the hour after we found out a tree fell on our home. They took care of everything from getting the tree off of our roof, tarping our roof, and cleaning up. I would recommend Integrity Tree Service to everyone."

"Shawn contacted me within a couple of hours after I had submitted my request for a deck contractor. He & his partner came out came out that afternoon & gave me an estimate. They came back two days later to begin our pool deck. I was very impressed with Shawn's professionalism. He made sure I was included in every decision concerning my deck. The project was completed on the 2nd day & I love it. The deck is exactly what we wanted and I can't wait to decorate it. We will certainly be calling Shawn again as soon as I decide on another project."

Animal Fencing questions, answered by experts

Deers have an extraordinarily strong sense of smell, which means they can react strongly to certain scents. Lavender, garlic, mint, cinnamon, clove, and human hair are some of the most offensive scents for deer. You can try mixing some of these pungent oils or scents with a spray mixture and adding them to your garden.

Squirrels have a strong sense of smell and can be deterred by various scents they dislike. Effective options include peppermint oil, rosemary, garlic, cinnamon, white vinegar, coffee grounds, and predator urine. Squirrels also have a strong aversion to capsaicin, the compound that makes chili peppers hot, making capsaicin-based repellents a good choice for protecting specific areas like gardens or bird feeders. For a DIY solution, you can create a garlic and vinegar spray and apply it daily. Additionally, placing strong-smelling items like certain soaps or dryer sheets near where squirrels frequent can also be effective.

Keeping your pool cover clean is a good way to keep smaller animals from running across it or using it as shelter. Small animals may use leaf debris on top of the cover to hide. Cleaning also removes nuts that may fall from a nearby tree that could otherwise be a tempting snack for some animals, like squirrels.

If you discover a dead animal in your air ducts, address the issue promptly to prevent unpleasant odors and potential health hazards. Turn off your HVAC system to prevent further spread of contaminants and contact a professional HVAC technician or pest control specialist to remove the animal and clean the affected area. They have the tools and expertise to handle the situation, including removing and disinfecting contaminated ductwork. The technician will inspect the ducts for any damage or other issues that might have allowed the animal to enter.

The same heat treatment that’s effective on flea eggs will also destroy the adults. There are four stages of the flea life cycle—egg, larva, pupa, and adult—and you’ll have to keep all of them in mind when taking on a pest infestation in your home.
