"If you are looking for a solid construction company sonart is the way to go for sure! All I could say was wow aside from the fact that my mouth was completely open for a solid five minutes LOL! "The job started on time but finished much later than estimated. The team was made of bunch of polite gentlemen. Different people with different expertise were used as needed. However, i was very disappointed with the detail work. The newly stained oak handrails and posts were left very rough but was finished up nicely on a later date after I made the complaints. The cast iron balusters and shoes were loosely installed. It was mostly fixed later on along with the handrail finish jobs. Above all, the most disappointing experience is that after they were finished installing the hardwood, the floor is making squeaky noise when walked many spots. During the installation I asked them many times why the floor is squeaky? They promised it will not squeak once fully installed. Later I was told different things such as wood on second floor is supposed to be like that, or the ply wood floor of the house was not correctly done by the builder of the house (which is actually true to some extent). However,another expert floor installer told me that they should have caulked the floor b4 installing wooden floor and should have used bucket glue instead of tubes. Whatever it is, the damage is done. It was a $15000 project cost for me. I could have spent some more to make it not make the annoying squeaky sound!

Anyway, they have a one year warranty which is pretty good and am still counting on it!

Oh! And The most annoying of all is trying to contact the office. Nobody ever picks up the phone. It goes to voicemail.
You have to leave a message and pray for a call back. I would have preferred to listen to a waiting music for few minutes and talk to a live person.

PS: The providers response is very unprofessional that i wanted to get more stuff done for free! In fact, after the job was finished, the provider asked for the additional labor hours which was almost double the original estimate. I had no choice but to pay them because I asked for a modification of the original estimated plan. They gave me a 5% discount on labor. I guess they are not suitable for big remodeling jobs after all.

Unfortunately this time I had to change their professionalism rating to F because of their unwelcome response."

"We had the LET Group do a multifaceted remodel and construction effort on our home: remodeled the existing garage to a game room, added a bathroom, remodeled/moved the laundry room, remodeled the kitchen and main bathroom and built a new stand-alone garage with workshop. As other reviewers have noted, the LET Builder Project Manager, Luis Taipe, is fantastic. As all construction projects go, there were schedule problems and infrequent worker issues, but the key to a good project is how well these issues are managed and Luis is extremely professional and handled all issues efficiently and effectively. As other's have noted, Luis actually identified issues that my wife and I would have not noticed or ignored and had them corrected to his satisfaction first which was often more stringent than we would have requested. We struggled at the start of this project to find a good contractor and actually delayed the project several times because we were not comfortable with either the potential contractors or their proposals. This changed when we met Luis and listened to his absolute professional observations and recommendations during the initial project assessment and proposal process. His proposals were detailed and he was responsive to changes. Yes, there were several contract changes, but we were aware of them (no surprises) and were part of the process in developing the contract changes. This was a very big step for my wife and I and it was a major project ---- could not be more satisfied with the results and have already passed on recommendations to neighbors. Would recommend LET Builders to anyone with Luis as the Project Manager. Luis is personable, professional, and extremely responsive --- met his family as well and it is a very nice package to have worked with."
