"It went flawlessly. We previously had another company come out and they were supposed to come back and after about a week after they did not show back up and did not return contact with us we reach out to Aaron’s they were there the next morning and then repairs and had our system completely repairs the day after that. They gave a 2 hour window which was perfect. We would use them again"

"It was a great and affordable service that provided us with the ability to upgrade our AC at an affordable price. Armando allowed us to not have to hire an electrician since he’s already licensed and Valeria provided us with a great quote and explained how the process works. Super thankful and recommending this company."

Heating and Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts

You should clean your air conditioner at least once per year, but you may need to clean your whole HVAC system (including the air ducts) more often. According to the National Air Duct Cleaners Association, you may need to clean them more frequently depending on factors like whether you smoke, have pets, or have allergies.

Yes. Your air supply should be balanced. The return and supply ducts need to maintain that balance, and this only occurs because an equal amount of air should be entering and leaving your HVAC system. Changes in pressure, extreme weather, and blocking vents with furniture or your stuff can make the air supply unbalanced and cause your home to get too cold or hot.

A damper motor can last up to 15 years, but it can wear out more quickly than that if you run your HVAC unit a lot. So you might expect a longer life in a colder climate than if you live in a warmer climate.

The size window AC you need depends on the BTU and the size of the room you’re cooling. For a room with 8-foot ceilings, look for about 20 BTU per square foot of the room. For example, a 12-by-12-foot room should have an air conditioner with 2,880 BTU. You can buy something slightly more powerful, but don’t overshoot the BTU for a small room, or you’ll waste energy and have higher bills.

Some of the signs of HVAC issues include rising energy bills, rooms not cooling or heating properly, loud noises when in operation, and signs of condensation. To illustrate, if you’re wondering how to stop condensation on air vents, you’ll need to have your HVAC inspected.
