Established in 1994, we're a proven swimming pool builder who has built over 5,000 residential and commercial swimming pools in Texas including Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Georgetown, Killeen/Temple, Waco and surrounding areas. We specialize in custom built pools and not the "cookie cutter" ones that large national franchise based pool companies are only interested in selling. We also set ourselves apart from local and small pool builders with our solid financial strength and industry leading warranty.

"Poor communication. Poor customer service. Always having to keep after them to find out where they are, when they are coming, etc. JR is the WORST supervisor I've ever dealt with in 4 pool constructions. He never shows up, he does not communicate well with customers and has no customer SERVICE whatsoever. Still having issues 2.5 years later."

Family business of 15 years. Excellent provided. Billing also includes cash or money order. Senior discount up to 30% depending on the job.

"Joe does not stand behind his work or his word. Basically, he is not an honest guy. He promises the world and is short to deliver. Once he gets his money you will never hear back from him. I had a pool installed last year (2017) and have had multiple problems where I had to have other folks come out to fix his team’s poor work. When I text or call him, he says he will come out but never shows up. Joe came highly recommended from a person who I kind of knew. But when I start to research his company I should have listened to my gut. There is very little on the web for Joe and his company. When I went to submit my pool design to my HOA he gave my wife a pencil drawing of two circles and the materials being used. There was no 3D rendering like many of the professional companies. He said that was to save money. Right there I should have stopped and walked away. Unfortunately, I went with him and now must spend more money getting things fixed because he refuses to warranty his workmanship. I had to pay $510 to get all the leaks on the pumps fixed. His team never installed a backflow to the heat pump for the hot tub, so it is possible the chlorine has caused significant damage to it. I now have massive drainage issues because he did not install any tubes to allow for water to drain from the rain. He should have installed tubes or re-graded the area to allow for any water to flow away from the house. Now I have a huge lake that forms against the pool and the side of my house every time it rains. I must put a sump pump out every time it rains to prevent my house from getting flooded. The SOB says it was my builders fault. There was no issue until Joe installed the pool. Anytime I had a concern or complaint he would just dismiss the topic. The walk way around the pool is cracking because he did not use any steel to re-enforce the structure. Just put dirt in the hole and poured the concrete. I asked what about the steel and he said we didn't need it. The pool is now just a year old and there are all sorts of settling cracks forming on the walk way. There is so much stuff that I could say bad about Joe and his company, but I don't want to waste any more time with this individual. Avoid this company. Big promises and poor delivery"

FAQs for pool construction and installation projects in San Antonio, TX

The average cost of an above-ground pool is between $1,100 and $5,700. Costs will vary depending on the type of pool you install. The low end of the price range includes a DIY kit for around $800 and goes up to about $15,000 for a custom pool with extra features like a deck and water features. Building an above-ground pool is much faster than installing an inground one. The cost tends to be much lower for an above-ground pool than for an inground pool because there’s less labor involved, especially when it comes to excavation and running plumbing and electrical lines.

Installing an inground pool costs around $55,000, on average. The typical price range is between $39,000 and $70,000, depending on the size and type of pool and accessibility of the site. This project requires an experienced pool installation contractor as the project usually involves extensive excavation, plumbing, electrical, concrete, and careful grading of the concrete or pavers around the pool.

Adding a spa to a pool is worth it if you use it enough. Adding a built-in spa to an inground pool can cost between $15,000 and $20,000, on top of installing the pool. A separate hot tub costs between $5,000 and $8,000. These prices will vary depending on the hot tub's size, type, and features. Additional costs include maintenance, electricity, and plumbing.

From start to finish, building an inground pool takes anywhere from two to four months. Factors that impact time to completion include any weather delays, material delays or shortages, scheduling conflicts, and any unforeseen challenges. The project may take most of the pool season, depending on where you live. Because of this, it’s a good idea to start getting estimates and finding a qualified pool company at least a year before your anticipated installation. Spring and summer is the busy season for pool contractors, which impacts their availability as projects are typically booked for several weeks if not months.
