Customers say: Terrific value

"We love our pool. The process was interesting, it went smoothly through demo, picking out the tile and installation, then we had spring showers. We all learned patience with mother nature, the crew did an excellent job with the concrete also. We have enjoyed our pool, appreciate Jeff and the crews workmanship at each stage of the process."

"I was originally interested in finding someone to clean out the slime at the bottom of our pool. Tim was extremely quick to respond. He even made a special trip at his own expense to assess what needed to be done at my pool. Unfortunately, it had been sitting so long, that both the equipment and plaster needed to be replaced, and that was not in our budget. I was very impressed with his professionalism and his desire to serve us, as potential customers. I can tell he has a lot of knowledge of pool equipment and pool maintenance. From the professionalism he displayed during my brief interactions with Symbri, I would certainly recommend to others that they give this company a chance to quote on their pool repair and maintenance projects. "We've just broken ground for the pool, so I'll have to wait and see how that goes. So far, though, I'm extremely pleased with them. Not pushy, willing to go through the costs items by item, so I can make an informed financial decision. They ACTUALLY seem to want to please me and my family with a great pool."

"These guys are amazing! They worked long hours in freezing temperatures to complete a job! They replaced a pool pump and re-plumbed an entire system as a record freeze descended to protect my pool. I am beyond thankful! AND they fixed a hot tub heater in the process that had not worked in 5 years! Such great work ethic! They also do great pool cleaning/winter-izing! Chris & Kyleâ ¦Best ever!"

"Essential Pools did great with our pool remodel! We had the whole thing replastered, pool pump replaced and redone, then they took over regular maintenance/cleaning. Absolutely amazing work. Would definitely recommend Essential Pools for all your pool needs. Nothing but great things to say."

Pool Construction and Installation FAQs, answered by experts

The small lines on the tape measure either indicate inches, fractions of an inch, or centimeters and millimeters. On the imperial unit side (aka the inches side), the longest lines indicate inches, followed by the next shortest lines that indicate a half-inch, and then the quarter, eighth, and sixteenth-inch. On the metric side, the lines break down meters, centimeters, and millimeters.

While concrete walls do not need to "breathe" in the traditional sense of the word, they do require waterproofing and dehumidifying methods, particularly in basements below the water table. Concrete both contains moisture from its initial installation and can absorb water when exposed. Ensuring proper basement ventilation , installing a vapor barrier, and controlling water exposure are all important tasks.

Yes, new home construction will always require building permits, no matter where you live. In most cases, you’ll need a general construction permit, along with plumbing and electrical permits for the utility lines in your home. Depending on where you live, you’ll likely find that you also need permits for things like connection to a sewage system or installing exterior components, like decks, driveways, patios, and curb cutouts. Leave navigating the permits required for new home construction to a professional to ensure your home is built legally and safely.

Framing is often the most expensive phase of building a house because it’s time-consuming and requires a lot of materials. It costs between $20,000 and $50,000 on average, depending on materials and labor costs. Before construction begins, it’s possible that purchasing land is the priciest step in the process. Some plots of land sell for $3,000, while others cost upwards of $150,000.

If a buyer pays for a survey, the surveyor they hired will only provide results to them. It’s up to the buyer whether they share the survey results with the seller or not, even if they ultimately walk away from the deal. It’s considered good faith to share the results with the seller, though, especially if you back out of the deal, as the seller can then provide that survey to future interested parties.
