Chris was right on time, listened to what I described as the problem, did some checking of equipment and then identified it to probably being an electrical problem.

Congratulations go out to Chris Westberry and his crew for a very nice job resurfacing my pool. Great care was taken in placing the staples as well as preparing the pool surface properly and sealing the deck and plastering. Chris monitored the progress every day sometimes staying well into the evening so that the job was done to his satisfaction. He answered all of my questions and helped me make good decisions. I will be using Alamo Pool & Spa in the future for all of my pool and pump needs. Now I have a pool that I can be proud of. I would like to thank him for a job well done.

We have a mid-1980's pool and spa in-ground pool that appears to have never been resurfaced and there were broken tiles from fallen tree branches. After receiving recommendations from neighbors and co-workers, I contacted the owner (Chris) with Alamo Pool & Spa Inc for a quote. We set up a time to see the pool and was provided a written estimate shortly after the meeting. We chose to go with Barbados Blue QuartzScape for the plaster and chose new tiles. From start to finish the project (excluding water fill up) took 4-days. Chris and his crew were great and we are happy with the final product! We expect the finish to last a long time, but would definitely use Alamo Pool & Spa to refinish a pool again.

Prompt and efficient service. Because service took such a short time, technician cut bill to half of telephone estimate. Nice!

Chris (Alamo Pool & Spa) called me promptly when I posted the need on Angie's List. We arranged to meet and when we did, he gave me a very fair and professional estimate of the scope of the job the materials needed for repair. Some of the fallen tiles had plaster stuck on the back which would interfere with smooth restoration. Consequently, Chris instructed me as to how to remove the plaster prior to his return for the repair job. On his instruction, I soaked the offending tiles in muriatic acid (pool acid) which removed the old plaster very efficiently and safely. Approximately 10 days later, Chris and an assistant restored the tiles in a little less than two hours and did a beautiful job. I will definitely call him and his company for future repair if needed.

Alamo Pool and Spa did an exceptional job resurfacing my gunite pool. Chris Westberry (the owner) and his team were a pleasure to work with and every aspect of the process (prep, plastering and startup) was completed in a professional and timely manner. I especially want to acknowledge Chris for his attention to detail and professional knowledge. He is a joy to work with and is punctual and highly available as compared to some of the other pool service companies I have tried to work with. I highly recommend Alamo Pool and Spa for any pool service project and especially for resurfacing. My pool is beautiful again!

I spent many years trying to find a competent pool maintenance company with little luck until I found Alamo pool & Spa. Chris knows pools better than anyone I have known. He is outstanding in finding the problem and fixing it and at a very reasonable price. If you own a pool you should have Alamo Pool &Spa on speed dial.

It went very well, I would highly recommend Alamo Pool & Spa! Chris was very good to work with. He was very responsive and professional. I got several quotes but found Alamo Pool not the cheapest but overall the best to work with. The work was done quickly, with proper supervision. The men were hard working, worked full days, completed the work in timely basis. They were very courteous and considerate of our family and dogs! Chris was very involved in supervising the crew and getting the work done. The work came out very well, My wife and I are very happy with the look of the pool.

Excellent work, as always from Chris. He and his crew have been taking care of our pool for 20 years. Wouldn't call anyone else. 10 years ago had major cracks in the pool. He and his guys repaired the cracks, resurfaced the pool and put in new tiles. 10 years later the pool still looks beautiful.

No issues, work completed on time at agreed upon price

All service from Alamo Pool and Spa has been outstanding. The price is always fair and most importantly the company is honest. Recently I had an issue with my spa and it turned out to be related to my filters being dirty. Chris knew I had cleaned my filters before and said if you clean your filters your problem will be fixed. He could have cleaned the filters and charged me for that service but allowed me to fix the problem myself since he knew I could perform the work. On top of that he did not even charge me a service or diagnostic fee!! I will always use alamo pool and spa for all my pool and spa repair/installation needs. The company will serve you with honesty and with great prices for their work.

Ken was very professional! Immediately went to work to fix the problem. He had all the parts with him and didn't have to reschedule to order the parts. I will definitely recommend them! They have a new fan!

Reached out to a total of 4 pool service companies (3 on Angie's List) in the San Antonio area. Chris at Alamo Pool & Spa was the first one to return my call within an hour of leaving a message for him - the other's took several hours to return my call...one still hasn't replied back to me as I type this review. After receiving all bids for my filter "project", I decided to go with Alamo Pool & Spa for the following reasons: 1. Chris' responsiveness to my first call and ongoing communication to answer questions and confirm details, product and service day/time. 2. Price - Although Chris' quote to me was NOT the lease expensive, it was still pretty competitive relative to the other quotes I received. 3. Availability - Chris was able to confirm service day and time-frame when it was good for me. Ken, our Pool Tech, show-up within the time-frame window as Chris committed to and was very friendly, courteous, but more importantly knowledgeable at what he was doing. Ken made sure to clean-up after the job was done and help educate me further on the usage of my new Pentair sand filter. Although I can only personally recommend Chris & Ken at Alamo Pool & Spa for any pool filter replacement project - I'm pretty sure they would treat and do the same for any other pool maintenance need you may have.

We were very pleased with Chris and his crew. After 3 bids, we decided to go with them because the price was very competitive and Alamo had such a great rating on Angie's list. Chris included the repair with the refinish, others charged separately for both. Chris arrived promptly each time, kept in contact we us, and followed through on everything he did. His crew was professional, very experienced, and did a nice job, no mess, no fuss! Great job!

The only reason they couldn't get to it faster was because they were so damn busy. They are probably the most professional labor people I've ever met in my life.

I've had them work on my pool three different times. What stood out about their service was their timeliness and cleanliness.
