"I was originally interested in finding someone to clean out the slime at the bottom of our pool. Tim was extremely quick to respond. He even made a special trip at his own expense to assess what needed to be done at my pool. Unfortunately, it had been sitting so long, that both the equipment and plaster needed to be replaced, and that was not in our budget. I was very impressed with his professionalism and his desire to serve us, as potential customers. I can tell he has a lot of knowledge of pool equipment and pool maintenance. From the professionalism he displayed during my brief interactions with Symbri, I would certainly recommend to others that they give this company a chance to quote on their pool repair and maintenance projects. "Essential Pools did great with our pool remodel! We had the whole thing replastered, pool pump replaced and redone, then they took over regular maintenance/cleaning. Absolutely amazing work. Would definitely recommend Essential Pools for all your pool needs. Nothing but great things to say."

"Bryan Hays was our project manager. He took Joe's design work and made it a reality. He was as professional as it gets. He showed up when he said he was going to, and sometimes when he didn't say he was. We truly appreciated that. As new pool owners it means the world to work with someone that does what he says he is going to do. He worked with a few changes we made to the layout, listened to our redundant questions, and was patient with us. Although a few of our questions were meant for other departments he took it upon himself to get us the answers we needed. If you decide to work with Gary's and get Bryan on your team you hit the lottery! Thank you for a wonderful experience."

Pool Construction and Installation questions, answered by experts

If you or your mortgage lender think your land survey needs to be more accurate, double-check the survey report and get at least a second opinion from the original surveyor and an inspector, if possible. Although it’s unlikely, even reputable surveying companies can make mistakes. An inaccurate survey can cause problems down the road in the case of any property line disputes, so it’s best to resolve any inaccuracies as quickly as possible.

Land surveying can help give clear guidance on your property boundaries for numerous situations. And in some cases, having your land surveyed is a requirement. Some common reasons to have your land surveyed include:

  • Planning for construction projects, like building a fence

  • Locating utilities, such as plumbing fixtures

  • Settling property line disputes

  • Creating subdivisions

  • Meeting mortgage requirements

  • Selling your property

Surveys completed by licensed surveyors can be recorded with a local surveying records office, and in most cases, they will be. Filing survey reports categorize them as legal documents, and they can be used whenever legal documentation of your property’s boundaries is needed. While you’re not required to file survey documents, it’s a good idea to do so.

A professional land surveyor ensures accurate property boundaries and prevent legal disputes.

A few different types of land surveys can help determine certain features and boundaries of your property. These include:

  • Boundary surveys describe the actual borders of a property. These are generally required when trying to get construction permits issued.

  • Location surveys provide much of the same information as a boundary survey but also include in-depth information about any improvements made to your property.

  • Mortgage location surveys are usually required by lenders and title companies before financing or offering an insurance policy.

  • Site-planning surveys are done before applying for building permits and can be issued before any major home improvements.

  • Topographic surveys provide a formal map of land elevations. It can also describe the location and size of natural features and any land improvements.
