"This company was sent to my house by American Home Shield, the technician said he was the owner. After about an hour, he came inside and said that I needed a new compressor, Freon, and several other parts, and that it would cost me $2,600-$3,200 OUT OF POCKET! He then tried to sell me a new $7,800 system, again, out of pocket. I told him to order the parts, and that I was going to get a second opinion. I called Schmidt Mechanical, and they were at my home the next day, and were able to repair my a/c and do a full system check of EVERYTHING. Turned out to be a simple voltage contact, and only cost a couple hundred dollars! A week later, I called the home warranty company, and they said that he NEVER EVEN BOTHERED TO CONTACT THEM WITH THE ESTIMATE!!! I demanded my service call fee back, and they obliged. I told them about the SCAM he is trying to pull, and that they shouldn’t be sending him to any one else’s house, they said they will investigate. If your home warranty company tries to send this company, tell them no!"

The guy had to Frankenstein my unit to make the new compressor fit and work, on the phone with someone the whole process because lack of experience with the electrical system. The tech recharged my system and didnt check service ports. I have suspicion that they put something in the Schrader valves also. Some kind of thread lock to ruin the service ports. I couldn't remove the old ones because of this shady work. Lost all of my refrigerant within an hour. Cant contact these people and when you try no answer and voicemail full. I never had cool air. Had to take care of this on my own. After getting things going I noticed everything was torn up striped screws air leaks all over the air handler like they were killing all of the efficiency to sell me a new unit. They company was pushing to sell me a new unit the whole process when this should have been an easy fix."
