Family owned and operated. Over 8 years of experience. We prefer Sherwin Williams paint because of the quality, however, we can be hired just for labor if you would like us to use your own paint!
"Very professional. We talked about the project on Saturday, finalized the project on Monday with the proposal, and did the project on Tuesday - one day ahead of schedule. The rooms and staircase were totally masked, the walls painted, and the project site totally cleaned up. Great job."

"Terrible, I’ve been left with an incomplete and messy remodel. Not just messy (which it is) in the sense of dirty but messy I’m caulking, backsplash, texturing and more! As stated above also didn’t clean up my job. Just walked off with no final walkthrough or anyone cleaning up the job site. There’s some kinda cement on my tile floor and behind my sink and I have no idea how to clean up on my quartz.dust everywhere. Said cleaning crew coming twice, no shows. Texture spray on my floor. My transition strips that were supposed to be glued down but they moved everywhere and now the clue is visible and on my very nice wood floors also now has sharp edges my granddaughter can walk over. Again don’t know how to get off glue off without damaging the wood. I fired them. And After I fired them they begged to come make it right... they didn’t and I won’t mention names but they know who. And please don’t let them tell you you’ll get a full crew because it’s a lie. Too much to type Jason called me basically in tears about 5 days ago saying the company had to close but I still see the website and he asked how he could make it right. I told him flat out you can give me the funds back for the parts not completeld so I can hire someone to come fix it and after that he never contacted me again no matter how I tried to reach him. I had them paint and repair my exterior before the interior I had to follow workers around because no communication and they had no idea what was supposed to be done. But I blew that off when Jason came to quote i gave another chance I told him to spell out on work on work order, so I thought great he did then they spent 3 weeks trying to put my kitchen sink in! Final words don’t use them they do not have it together And if they have gone outta business then that’s for the best but if so why are the listed here still? Over 22,000 on the interior Waste of time waste of all my remodel funds This was my dream remodel after almost 10 years of living here always wanted to do it and they ruined it Paint was good by J&B cylinder removal good That’s it"

Generally, general contractors charge between $50 and $150 hourly, though not every contractor charges by the hour. If charging based on the project, you can expect a markup of 10% to 20% of the construction cost. You can expect to pay between $300 and $500 daily if charged by the day.
General contractors are the ones that coordinate home construction projects. They are in charge of the day-to-day oversight of the subcontractors to ensure that the project is completed on time and to resolve problems as they arise. General contractors:
Complete pre-construction planning, both with the customer and crew
Provide realistic cost estimates
Develop construction timelines
Ensure deadlines are met
Acquire permits as needed
Purchase supplies and materials
Before hiring a general contractor for your home project, it’s a great idea to write down a list of questions to discuss with each prospect. Some example questions to get you started include:
Which types of insurance do you carry?
Can you provide a list of references?
What is the expected timeline for this project?
How will my project be supervised?
Will you hire subcontractors for the job?
What is the best way to communicate changes?
Will you obtain all of the required building permits?
While city and state laws vary on general contractor licensing requirements, hiring an unlicensed general contractor could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local general contractor guidelines for your area.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
Yes, most general contractors require a down payment for project completion. A reasonable down payment for a contractor is 10% to 25% of the total project cost, though that will vary based on project size and location. The down payment helps cover the upfront costs of materials and permits and helps ensure payment for the project at hand.
