"Mr. Luis is the most professional and patient gentleman. He always quickly responded to any of our request before and during the job. Mr. Luis also has the best crew who did an outstanding job to make my broken retaining wall like a new wall again. They also cleaned up the working area nicely. Mr. Luis is very busy, I've waited for more than a week to get the home visit scheduled. But all my wait is paid off since I found the best company to repair my retaining wall! If you can't get the second-day estimate scheduled, I think you shall wait. I highly recommend Arbors and Patios. I will definitely hire them again for my future outdoor improvements."

"I have used Pinckard Landscape Services 3 times, over several years, for drainage issues and for flower bed landscaping. It is a great company, managed by great people, and with hard working employees. I would not hesitate to use them again for any of the above services!"

"I found Blaney Stonework & Landscape on Angie's List and felt the reviews for this company far surpassed reviews for other companies. Forrest Blaney met with my husband and I in May to discuss our initial issue with drainage in the back yard.  He had several recommendations regarding the gutters which we pursued and immediately executed with Dallas Gutters.  We discussed the possibility of not only correcting the drainage issue but also doing hardscape around the pool, extension of the patio, a pad for the hot tub/spa and lastly completely redoing the landscape in the front and back yards. He gave us a list of finished projects to look at and we were very impressed with the work.  About a week later he came back with a preliminary design and a phased approach to the project.  We elected to have him do the entire job.  It was a delight to watch the crew tear out all the old overgrown bushes and the old concrete walkways, including the one to the street.  They were like bees around honey!  Since nothing had been done to the yards in decades, the neighbors were also very interested in the beehive of activity.  Forrest's crew was amazing; everyone knew his job and did it well.  His stone masons did a fabulous job on all the stonework around the flower beds and fitting all the flagstone like a puzzle.  Forrest was very hands on and was on site during the entire process, many times picking and placing the most interesting pieces of stone. The approach to our house and the front door landing is wonderful and so inviting;  previously it just scared people away!!  The back yard is now a haven to be enjoyed. We no longer had a pool full of grass after mowing since the entire surrounding area is now either hardscape or river rock.  The plantings Forrest chose are beautiful, some annuals, some perennials, hardy trees, and boulders.  Forrest has a network of specialists to reach out to for such things as stump grinding and concrete work.  He also recommended an irrigation specialist whom we hired to install complete system (Bean Irrigation).  We couldn't be happier with our new yards and have received many complements from our neighbors."

"Needed a driveway expansion done, as well as adding some concrete to my patio. They showed up on time, communicated properly, and the finished result looks great. The stamp matching on my patio is excellent, it looks like it was stamped all on the same day by the same company. I highly recommend Mt. Olive."

"Jason as a sale manager always responded me promptly and exactly understood what I wanted and tried to achieve them. Jose and his crew completed a really good work. Materials used are all cedar wood, three 8x8 posts. They also put several curved brackets on between the posts and beam, and three-step caps on the top and the bottom of the posts, which makes the patio cover look pretty solid and also aesthetic. The gable part is attached to the existing roof above my breakfast room, and flat part is against the exterior wall of my living room. Since the roof shingles they used are exactly same as the existing roof, the cover looks like a part of my house. Overall, the patio cover they built has high quality, and the price they offered is quite competitive. I think this is really a worthwhile investment for my family, we now really enjoy the outdoor activities."

Small jobs welcome

"I canâ t t say enough wonderful things about this company. Over the past year Iâ ve tried a couple of crews for small projects. When Nick came out initially to discuss what I wanted,,I him my budget. He showed me some photos to get a. Idea of what I liked. I knew from the first meeting this company, True Solutions would be perfect. Nick had to come out to spray a field of weeds. He checked in with me several times to see if they were dead so he could start the project. Nick and his crew came out got right to work and to my surprise, nick was right there in the dirt working right along side his men. He had to rebuild a water feature weâ ve had for the past 22 years. It developed several cracks and would no longer hold water. Nick went shopping for a new urn. He knew I had a limited budget and was very conservative in pricing. The job is finished and I could not be more pleased. The crew cleaned up the yard, washed down the patio and driveway and checked with me for my satisfaction. I was so happy with both Nick and his crew. They are my go to landscape company. Nick is a soft spoken gentleman with expert knowledge of plant material and design Such a pleasure to work with."

"They do more of a natural landscaping and it just wasn't what I wanted, I wanted something a little different. He was fine, but kind of caters to a specific type of person. It was all fine, I don't remember any problems."

Patios questions, answered by experts

A prefab sunroom will last for between 10 and 20 years in most cases, although you could get up to 50 years out of a high-quality prefab sunroom. In addition to material quality, your prefab sunroom’s lifespan will depend on the foundation type and the climate in your area. Extreme weather and expansive soil can decrease the expected life.

Building a sunroom can take anywhere from two weeks to six months. An average-sized sunroom typically takes between two and eight weeks to complete, but more elaborate or larger projects can take longer. The final timeline depends on factors such as the sunroom's size, features, structural requirements, type, and whether it's a retrofit or a new build from scratch.

Several types of porches are available to meet your needs and style preferences. Some common porch types include:

  • Porticos are essentially a roof over a walkway leading to the home's front entrance.

  • Sunrooms are closed-in porches that are an extension of the house with glass or plastic panels that allow optimal sunlight.

  • Wraparound porches extend around the entire home, or at least the front and one side, and offer multiple entrances to the house.

  • Back porches are an extension of the home’s floor into the outdoors. These offer more protection and privacy than a deck.

A deck is typically attached to a house and accessed via the back door. Decks are usually constructed from wood or composite materials. A terrace, on the other hand, is a raised platform that can be attached to or detached from the house and is typically made from a hard-paved material, such as paving stones. Terraces can be built on the ground or on the roof of a home.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it meets certain criteria. For instance, it must be completely enclosed with solid walls and a roof. It should also have a heating and cooling source similar to the rest of the home. Finally, the porch should have direct access to and from the interior of your house.
