Mr. Luis also has the best crew who did an outstanding job to make my broken retaining wall like a new wall again. They also cleaned up the working area nicely. "I found Blaney Stonework & Landscape on Angie's List and felt the reviews for this company far surpassed reviews for other companies. Forrest Blaney met with my husband and I in May to discuss our initial issue with drainage in the back yard.  He had several recommendations regarding the gutters which we pursued and immediately executed with Dallas Gutters.  We discussed the possibility of not only correcting the drainage issue but also doing hardscape around the pool, extension of the patio, a pad for the hot tub/spa and lastly completely redoing the landscape in the front and back yards. He gave us a list of finished projects to look at and we were very impressed with the work.  About a week later he came back with a preliminary design and a phased approach to the project.  We elected to have him do the entire job.  It was a delight to watch the crew tear out all the old overgrown bushes and the old concrete walkways, including the one to the street.  They were like bees around honey!  Since nothing had been done to the yards in decades, the neighbors were also very interested in the beehive of activity.  Forrest's crew was amazing; everyone knew his job and did it well.  His stone masons did a fabulous job on all the stonework around the flower beds and fitting all the flagstone like a puzzle.  Forrest was very hands on and was on site during the entire process, many times picking and placing the most interesting pieces of stone. The approach to our house and the front door landing is wonderful and so inviting;  previously it just scared people away!!  The back yard is now a haven to be enjoyed. We no longer had a pool full of grass after mowing since the entire surrounding area is now either hardscape or river rock.  The plantings Forrest chose are beautiful, some annuals, some perennials, hardy trees, and boulders.  Forrest has a network of specialists to reach out to for such things as stump grinding and concrete work.  He also recommended an irrigation specialist whom we hired to install complete system (Bean Irrigation).  We couldn't be happier with our new yards and have received many complements from our neighbors."

"The Installers showed up at the time agreed and completed the work promptly. The fit and finish of the gate they installed was just 'ok' - screws in at an angle and not straight and poking through the other side of the fence. Cleanup was most unimpressive. There were nails left on our driveway (that I had to pick up myself) - the driveway and patio was not hosed down and branches from the tree they trimmed (which during the initial assesment I was told they wouldn't need to trim) were left in our yard for us to clean up. We wouldn't hire Texas Best Stain again."

"I was going out of town for a week during Thanksgiving break and I was struggling to find someone to help me install synthetic turf before I left for vacation. I have a dog that would dig up the yard at any opportunity he gets and installing synthetic turf would not only stop that, but also provide an opportunity to expand his play area outside. I called Nick at the end of the day on a Friday and scheduled for a quote that weekend. He informed me that his schedule was booked until after Thanksgiving break which was a bummer but he then told me that since the yard is small, that he may be able to fit me in on either Tuesday or Wednesday before Thanksgiving, which was perfect. From there, he stayed in communication with me and answered any questions I had. While they finished 90% of the work on Wednesday, they came back on Friday and finished up the work. It was super fast, his team was great, and my dog is happy. He absolutely loves being able to run around the entire yard chasing his toys. It also provides me an opportunity to exhaust him without being obligated to walk him. It's been an amazing change in our lifestyle from something as simple as installing turf. The price wasn't particularly "low", but it was comparable to other synthetic turf installations. What set him and his group apart was the professionalism from Nick and the incredible customer service that allowed me to get my new turf in such short notice! (sorry about that) They know what they are doing, they were able to answer any questions I had, and he was a little flexible with my payment since I had to mail it out. Overall, I would highly recommend him and his team. Fantastic job and I cannot wait to host parties with our new outdoor area."

"Weâ d like to say the categories of this is not Fair to Texas Green Lead in regard to our project! We got several quotes or attempted to. This project was HUGE, we asked Gerardo to pour a driveway, build a shop pad with a massive retaining wall, erect a 30x50 metal shop, add a 22x20â patio extension extending the existing roof line. Gerardo performed phenominally! Our project took several months but from the start communication has been excellent! All concernâ s big or small was addressed. My Wife and I were hesitant at the beginning of our project but we can assure you, GERARDO and Texas Green Leaf are your top choice! From prepping, pouring and finishing the concrete work, erecting and welding the shop to building our patio extension along with the finish work. Our investment was in great hands! The best part that we appreciate is they take all projects regardless big or small and will segment them into phases! He completes one phase before starting the next which we greatly appreciate.
