Small jobs welcome

"Shaun and his crew did a great job. Our property was completely flooded, and was very difficult for the guys to work here. We literally had a huge mud hole in the back of the house, that caused them all kinds of issues and problems. But they did a great professional job, regardless of everything . They overlooked the conditions and saw the greater need. I would recommend Shaun and his crew to anyone needing a new septic system."

"John showed up and started working right away. He assessed the system and knew immediately and exactly what was going on. Our septic system had not been cleaned out properly the past several times VIA other companies. Of the 500gal first tank less than 200gal was available to be used as the rest was totally solid. He and his co-worker dug up the lid and slid it open to do a SERIOUS clean out. I saw what was in there and no wonder it did not work properly! He took his time and cleaned every last thing out of the system! I mean EVERYTHING! When he was done you could see the walls and the bottom. Super friendly, super helpful and explained everything and more. I will never call another service out; these are my go-to guys!!!"

"They did a good job and had to search for the tank and field pipes , my only criticism would be if you are going to dig in a garden then why not lift the grass as a sod , as it would be easy to replace after and would leave a neater ,faster healing job ."

Septic Tanks questions, answered by experts

How deep your septic system needs to be into the ground depends on several factors. In extremely cold environments, the tank needs to rest below the maximum frost line, which can be up to six or eight feet deep. The standard burying depth for most systems is between a few inches and four feet below ground level. Depth can also depend on the slope of the landscaping and other property variables.

While a traditional septic tank requires a leach field for wastewater disposal, it is possible to have a septic system without one. Some alternative systems, which are often used when there isn't enough space for a full-size leach field, include mound systems or sand filtration systems. In a conventional setup, the leach field is essential because it's where the wastewater goes after leaving the tank.

Recognizing signs of a failing septic system is crucial to prevent costly damage and health hazards. Foul odors in and around your home, slow drainage in sinks and toilets, or gurgling noises in plumbing fixtures can indicate problems with drainage. Lush, green patches of grass near the drain field or wastewater pooling on the ground are alarming signs that may indicate a leak in the system. If you notice any of these symptoms, it's vital to address them promptly to avoid more extensive and expensive issues.

Permits command adherence to health and environmental standards, with submission crucial for new system installations or extensive modifications.

Mound systems can fail if foreign objects are flushed into the septic tank, the septic tank is backed up with solid waste (sludge), if wastewater floods or seeps from the mound, or if any part of the system is clogged. To prevent this, only flush toilet paper and your normal “business” down toilets, and get a septic inspection at least yearly.
