"We hired X Team Services for siding repair after a storm damaged one side of our house. The new siding blends in surprisingly well with the existing material, and the crew left the property clean when they finished."

"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"He came out to do an estimate, and said he would contact me the following day to give me a firm price. Waited till the end of the next day, never heard from him, so I went with another company to get the job finalized and completed. Command Systems guy was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and seemed to know what needed to be done. The only down side was he never contacted me as agreed upon when he gave me the estimate."
"The Sometimes Spouse representative was very professional, arrived 10 minutes early. The job was a bit challenging but he managed to fix the problem. The side wall of the jacuzzi was removed and replaced very neatly. I would not hesitate to use this provider in the future or recommend them to others. "
"1) First Jess and his team came up to size up what we were trying to accomplish. He listened to all of our wants and concerns 2) Within 24 hours we had a bid for both projects; the other 2 companies we contacted took over 1-2 weeks 3) This was the first time a company recommended a decking/siding solution that was cheaper and longer lasting than what we had in mind 4) He was very communicative throughout the process and responded to emails/txt almost immediately 5) Once the jobs started he provided us with daily updates and pictures 6) We he found something that was not part of the original plan he contacted us immediately with not only the problem but a recommendation with possible solutions 7) His crew was very professional and as clean as they could be given the jobs 8) He personally came to fix any cleanup that was needed 9) He then followed up a week later to make sure we were happy with everything
I highly recommend him and we are already working on the next items."
"Imagine how disgusting it feels to know rats have taken up residence in your home. We suspected we had something going on in the attic and I had my wife find an exterminator. As luck would have it it it took her hours to find someone to come right away. The next day Wednesday one of Critter Control inspectors came to our home and made a very thorough inspection. They found many traces of rats-living in the attic and damage by chewing holes in the siding to get in. Rats can get in a hole the size of a quarter. We had no idea how bad it was. We think the next door neighbor harbors a nest under his shed and we were the rats next convenient target.
You don't mess around when it's this bad. That Friday 2 trucks pulling trailers showed up.Our foreman Kelly couldn't have been more professional. All the men piled out of truck and immediately went to work. One is on the roof repairing damage in the siding-another sealing entry holes-2 others are laying plastic down where they will be walking to get to the attic. The guys are prepared and have everything with them they need. With a powerful vacuum the size of a firehouse they suck up everything in the attic-insulation and anything that moves. They they sprayed to decontaminate what might be left. It looked like a Haz Mat scene. They inspected for any electrical wire damage and replaced some duct work that had been gotten into. They they brought in new insulation-more than what I had before. And they left a few traps behind just in case one had been hiding.
We had followup from the company about 2 weeks later from their Quality Control-Len H. He put my wife at ease with his understanding how traumatic this had all been. He found that rats are still trying to get in and had caused some more damage. Len said they would be back to repair and do some more preventive repairs to be sure the rats stay gone.
This whole event started on a Wednesday with an inspection. Friday morning they were here and in only a few hours later had us cleaned up and put back together. Thank you Critter Control for the prompt response. We feel much safer now. Did I mention they have a lifetime guarantee? Mine or the rats?"

Yes, the thickness of siding is an important factor to consider when replacing it. Siding thickness helps to determine how your home retains and redirects heat. While thicker siding has a premium price, it offers greater strength and durability, stronger insulation, better wind and weather resistance, increased rigidity, and better soundproofing.
Bleach can be an option if you want to kill mold and mildew clinging to your siding. However, you must water bleach down to the right concentration of a 1/2 cup of bleach per gallon of water to avoid damaging your siding. Bleach can also harm plants in your yard and isn’t safe to use near pets, so employ it with caution.
Steel and aluminum are two types of metal siding that are commonly used for residential and commercial buildings, but the materials have specific differences. Typically, steel is heavier and sturdier, fending off scratches and dents, while aluminum is lightweight and more prone to damage. Cost is another differentiating factor, as steel is more expensive than aluminum siding cost.
Concrete log siding offers some cost savings when compared to wood logs. Real wood logs require ongoing maintenance that can total up to $750 annually, while concrete log siding doesn’t require annual maintenance. Since concrete log siding exceeds the requirements of most building codes, it can also lower insurance premiums and boost resale value.
The living space of a home doesn’t correlate directly with how many square feet of siding you’ll need, but on average, a 2,000-square-foot home will need 1,700 square feet of siding or 17 squares of siding. Your siding measurements will vary depending on the layout of your home, the number of stories, the size of your doors and windows, and even your roof style.
