Bennett Woodworking did an outstanding job building and installing new kitchen cabinets for my house. The cabinets he built for my kitchen are top-notch quality and beautifully crafted. He gave me several design options for my kitchen that really added to the functionality of the space, and you can tell he really knows his stuff. The painter that Mike brought in to paint the cabinets did a wonderful job as well. Mike was always friendly, professional, and trustworthy to work with. Mike's prices were very reasonable for the amount of work that he put into building and installing my cabinets. He even fixed my front door that kept sticking (free of charge!) I highly recommend Bennett Woodworking and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Mr. Bennett built a false wall in our entryway to support the ceiling while he removed about 8 feet of the front exterior wall of our house; replaced the framing leaving an opening for the new door and sidelights; installed the door; and hired an electrician to rewire the light switches and a brick mason to do the necessary brick work to move the edge of the brick veneer to match the new door.  Mr. Bennett also repaired some water damage that had occurred over the past 30 years.  He did all the sheet rock work, texturing, and painting required to blend the new work into the existing interior finish.  He also replaced a small section of parquet flooring which had also been damaged by water (I supplied the parquet which was left from the original floor installation).
Mr. Bennett works with one helper, and was here during all phases of the work.  He was very courteous and provided good, knowledgeable answers to all of our questions.  He was flexible and asked for our input on everything that involved the aesthetics of the project.  He stayed with quoted price in spite of a few minor wrinkles as the work went along.
If I need remodeling work done in the future, Mr. Bennett will be the first on my list to call.

Michael was on time, and did a great job. We got 3 estimates and they were all around the same price, but I chose him because of the reviews off Angie's List and was not disappointed. Will use again in the future.

Mr. Bennett did great work. He arrived quickly to give the estimate. Although his estimate was not the cheapest we had (also not the most expensive), we went with Mr. Bennett because he was responsive to phone calls, answered any concerns we had, and seemed all around knowledgeable and professional. We think we made a good choice. When weather or other obstacles out of his control appeared, he adapted well and got things done quickly. He also was very friendly, did not go over budget, and, most importantly, the final product looks great.

I have him on speed-dial. He not only replaced the doors, but also painted them for me. He was pleasant to deal with as well. By the way, I am guesstimating the date of service, but it was done this spring.

I had a pocket door separate from its wheel track. After reviewing
repair solutions online, I decided that I needed someone that had
experience with this type of repair. I'm glad I called Mike, as I was
prepared to remove the molding from my door in order to gain access to
it. However, that turned out to be unnecessary. I called my this
morning and left a message. He called back after 10 minutes and after
describing my problem, he immediately came to my home less than 10
minutes later.
He was able to reattach the doors and lock the
wheels back in place in less than 15 minutes. So, the time between my
initial phone call and having the door repaired was about 30 minutes.

Mr. Bennett communicated promptly, estimated accurately, and completed the work professionally. He had to work around venting in the attic and a decorative wood ceiling beam, so accurate measurement was imperative. He was easy to work with, and we are very pleased with the results.

Mike is not alway super punctual, but he proved himself to be super honest and he does work to a very high standard. Very reliable, you just need to allow a little more time than you might wish to. However, this is easy to overlook considering his other qualities. He does do that job at the price he quotes.

I was having a new skylight installed because of leakage, and the roofer referred me to Michael. Michael redid the ceiling and performed all functions in an outstanding manner, so I hired him to do additional remodeling, to include installation of new wood floors, finish out an incompleted bathroom remodel to include tile work, new baseboards, and paint. He did such a great job, my brother-in-law hired him to redo the exterior of his river cabin, again completed in highly satisfactory manner. I now have hired him to install a bathroom in an existing bedroom in my mother's house. As a real estate broker (in Florida) I have dealt with a lot of contractors, and I would put Michael at the top of the list. He is VERY conscientous, very reasonable, honest, and reliable. Did I mention reliable?
