These people are gems. Having arrived in Texas with no contacts and lots of remodeling plans I can't thank Angie's List and Velasquez Remodeling enough! Rosa is the business end, Carlos and his teams do the labor and do it exceedingly well. They know textures, wallboard, tiling and can work wonders. I suspect Carlos knows a lot more English than he lets on, too. Tireless and reliable workers, very neat both as they work and after the job is done. We will use them on a continuing basis and do so with confidence.

They showed up as scheduled, communicated well on the phone, were very polite, plus did a fantastic job to boot! We have another project we plan to hire them for in the future and would recommend their services.

The backsplash is a tile and glass mixture. The contractor taped all the counters off, carried all the old backsplash out. Put the new tile on, put the grouts in, and put the plugs and switches back where they were. They installed my ceiling lights and when everything was said and done, my kitchen was cleaner than when they started. A couple days later the contractor reappeared and sealed the grouts.
They were nice, quiet, fast, and absolutely professional. The best contractors I had working on my house to date. Also, meanwhile, I had the team put in a built in shower, work on the roof, redo ceilings, fix plumbing (Mr. Velasquez had to put a hole into my outside wall to get to the problem. You cannot tell that there was anything done to my brick wall ......ever.), and work on my fences.
The prices are great, not like other contractors in the area. The people are extremely friendly. The get the job done as quickly as possible without taking shortcuts in the quality of the work.
My kitchen and my shower are beautiful and I couldn't be happier. If you give them the chance to make suggestions, you will be amazed. They are very creative.

The remodeling went very well.  The contractor tiled the bathroom floor and shower, installed new shower fixtures, removed old commode and vanity and replaced with new commode and vanity with new fixtures.  Removed old light fixture and installed new light fixture, textured wall and painted  bathroom. I purchased a new commode which I could not see in the store  before I purchased it and once installed I was not pleased with it.  I was a little nervous about asking to remove the commode.   The contractor kindly removed the commode and replaced it for me.  The owner wanted me to be pleased with my repairs.  
They were very prompt and courteous.  Answered  my questions or concerns.
