"AAA did an amazing job on our fence installation. Removed the old fence, installed a beautiful new fence and stained it all in one day. They cleaned up and when they left it was like they were never here. Professional and courteous! Outstanding workmanship!"

"Mr. Barnett (Melvin) was the first to call once the bid request for a chain link fence replacement was submitted. His was the best bid. He was ready to start after utilities were marked. He and his crew showed up when promised and got the job done in a single day, although the sun was pretty well down when he finished. Great price and great service for my fence project. I would highly recommend Barnett Fencing and Desk Restorations, LLC."

Customers say: True professional

"They reached out to schedule a walk through before we had even finished getting set up on Angi. Gerardo came out and that day and explained the different materials we could use and the pros and cons of each. He gave me answers to questions I wouldn't have even thought to ask. We had an estimate in hand before the day's end with three different prices (good, better, and best). Their prices were fantastic, so much so we went with the best/highest quality, and it was still less than what others paid for their fences (and in my humble opinion, our fence is sturdier and nicer to look at). We had to get a permit and that delayed the start date by a week, but RP Elite Fence Contractors stuck with their original quote and came out right after the permit was granted. They had 66' of fence installed and the old fence hauled off before I came home from work. My wife was home to oversee things and says the gentlemen could not have been nicer. They arrived on schedule, finished when they said they would (even though I knew the corner section was going to give them fits), and did a better job than I could have imagined. When the time comes to get our side sections done, they have the job."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

The lifespan of a fence can range from 5 to 50 years, depending heavily on the material, local climate, and how well it is maintained. For example, a wooden fence might last 7 to 15 years, while a vinyl fence typically lasts 20 to 30 years. Metal, composite, and glass fences have some of the longest lifespans. Proper maintenance, such as regular cleaning, inspections, and staining or sealing for wood, is key to extending the life of any fence material. Vinyl and composite are durable options that don't require sealing.

The most common height of a front yard fence is around 3 feet high, but it can vary depending on your zoning laws. If your fence is meant to create privacy, something closer to 6 feet or higher will do the trick. Most of the time, the highest fence you’ll see is 8 feet tall.

Goats need at least 250 square feet of space each, but that’s if you’re also supplementing hay. Since goats are social animals, you’ll want to avoid renting only one goat, which would take a long time to clear your land, anyway. Instead, opt for at least two goats per 500 square feet of land. Most rental companies will only rent out goats by the acre, but check your local goat rental companies to see if they make exceptions.

Yes, you can use a floor jack to remove fence posts. Attach a stem to the base of the fence post so you can position the floor jack underneath. The stem can be a scrap piece of wood attached with nails or a sturdy nail itself. Put the jack beneath the stem and push the lever to lift up on the fence post and remove it from the ground.

Regular lawn care keeps snakes away because it eliminates common hiding places. You can deter snakes by trimming grass, shrubs, and trees and removing weeds from your lawn and gardens. Clear away leaves and other debris that could serve as a potential snake habitat. You can also seal entry points around building perimeters and install metal snake fencing.
