AVOID THIS COMPANY! Lacks skilled labor to install railings. -Required replacement of 80% of initial install. -Posts had offset anchors w/ only 2 lag screws/plate. Screws and posts RUSTED SAME DAY. All anchors had to be replaced. -RUST DAMAGE all over our existing deck and concrete patio from discarded metal shavings. -PAINT OVERSPRAY DAMAGE. -DEEP SCRATCHES AND GOUGES in our existing deck from dragging and dropping railing. 30+ deck boards ruined. -NO COMMUNICATION for wks. Over 30 emails and dozens of calls and on-site mtgs. *They offered to replace damaged deck boards but only if we signed a RELEASE OF LIABILITY/WORKMANSHIP! *They offered to pay for and deliver new deck boards but we would STILL HAVE TO PAY FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO INSTALL. *Eventually their Sales Director claimed that we could not prove that they caused the damage to our existing deck and patio. Contrary to their worry free promise, Discount Fence DOES NOT DELIVER GREAT QUALITY and DOES NOT PROVIDE GREAT SERVICE!

Highly recommend using Discount Fence! Roy was amazing- he is very professional and gave us some great advise. We wanted a fence that would keep our dog in the yard while still allowing us to watch the deer. Installation took one day, and Roy's team left no mess. Beyond happy with the quality and aesthetic of this fence!

I hired this company to repair the gate to my wrought iron fence. I specifically asked them to call me before they came out so I could explain what I needed. They did not call me. They showed up and partially repaired my gate when I was not at home. I still am not able to properly lock the gate. If I had been there, I would have pointed that out to them. I am not confrontational so I paid them, but I will not use them again.

Lots of room for improvement. There was lot of communication issues from the get go. I had to call each time during the process to get schedules etc. As a customer who is paying $1200 (half of it upfront) one would expect the company to be more responsible in their communication. We needed a fence installed for overall protection but especially something that would keep snakes away as our house backs into the green belt. Well, the company guys came and installed "a fence". There was no communication on what the fence material would be except the fact that its called a "snake fence" because it has very small openings to prevent the snakes from getting through it. I was repeatedly told that it will only deter snakes and is not a 100% guarantee and that the snakes could still jump over. I totally get that disclaimers are needed for any job but the repetitions made me nervous. Unfortunately, it did not surprise me to find out after the fact (and was never told to me anywhere along the process) that the fence was not metal. Responding to my call enquiring about the material, I was informed that it was polypropylene. After inspection, I am assuming, this can be easily bitten/chewed off by rodents and therefore will then allow the snakes to come in. Also, although it is secured by ties on the main fence, it seemed like it is just buried under a small depth of soil in the ground and could come off easily for eg after a heavy rainfall. I can see how this fence makes sense on a chicken coup or around a cage etc, but to install this on a main back fence without any metal reinforcement feels like I got cheated. Although the installation etc was OK the final product was unsatisfactory. Despite being repeatedly given disclaimers about this being not a 100% guarantee against snakes, not on a single occasion were we told that this would not be metal mesh/fence. If we knew this we would not have paid all this money. Not to mention that I had to also pay some one else to clear 2 feet of ground surface on the other side of my backyard so that the guys could install the fence. I will now have to spend more money to secure their fence (with some metal reinforcements) which was meant to secure us in the first place.

Discount Fences was much cheaper than the other estimate I got - about half as much. They responded to my request for an estimate quickly and came and did the work within a couple of days of my original call.

Extremely we done. Fast service on estimating and the crew finished a day sooner than estimated. When job was completed, area supervisor checked that every board was tight and placed right. Great job! Also, the cost was significantly lower then an estimate I received last year from someone else.

It went quite well and the work was satisfactory. The crew arrived later than expected (4 p.m.) and did not complete the job until about 10 p.m. There was one minor flaw because of some miscommunication but the issue was resolved the next day when a quality manager visited the site to inspect the completed project. After an amicable agreement was reached, the company made an appropriate and acceptable reduction on the overall cost of the project. I would recommend this company for similar projects.

We were very pleased. Crew showed on time, was very efficient and did good work. The crew leader Jordan and our contact, DJ were very good. We especially liked the fact that they dug out the old posts rather than offset new ones. Their price was very competitive and they finished ahead of schedule.

I was very happy with the whole project. The estimator was very responsive, quoted me on several different options, the price was good, and the crew was very neat, fast and pleasant. Very happy with the result. I had thought that perhaps since it was a partial fence that it would be a problem, but not at all. I had three quotes, the other two were quite a bit higher, and one bid had a fairly long wait time.

Pricing was good, they were professional and prompt, final product looks great. I would definitely use them again.

Initially wooden posts were brought. I caught the mistake on time, since I had requested earlier to have metal posts instead. The metal posts eventually arrived, and I paid extra, since I was told the invoice was for wooden posts.

Elias and his assistant were here on time, worked hard with only a break for lunch, and completed the job that day. The fence looks much sturdier than the original builder-grade, the gates on either side of the house now open and close as they should, and they did a great job of cleaning up the yard. Also, I asked DJ if we could delay the power-washing and staining for a few weeks, mainly because of my visitors, schedule, etc., and they agreed to do that. That will be scheduled soon.

It went well. Jamie, our sales rep worked with all 4 parties and took care of all of our neighbors concerns. Their crew showed up on time and did great work. When it was found that a few pickets hadn't been fully nailed, Jamie came out within an hour or 2, fixed the pickets, and checked the rest of the fence. They were nearly the least expensive of the quotes, and went with them for best mix of cost, quality of materials and warranty. Used thicker red cedar pickets, steel posts, with a 1 year warranty on both materials and labor, which most companies did not have. Very happy with Jamie and the crew for their work as the fence looks great and is structurally sound.

The only challenge was getting in touch to nail down timeframes, but work was done promptly and for a good price.

I had a great experience. It was just easy that is what stood out the most. It was an easy process. They showed up and did their work. There was one little hiccup, they came back and fixed it no problem.

Dan showed up on time and was very professional. He knew what type and height of fence was needed and made it quick and easy. I had to get approval from our HOA and there was a lot involved in that. Dan helped us every step of the way and went the extra mile to make sure things ran smoothly and on time. When we were finally approved, Dan scheduled us for the same week. They installed the fence quickly and it looks great! I would absolutely hire them again.
