"Will use them again Anthony and his team did a great job I had a gate that was installed by a previous contractor. The contractor never came back to fix issue so I had to hire someone else. Really appreciated the work and him explaining everything to me."

"I had a great experience working with Joe. He installed new step lighting, fixed door hinges, hung a coat rack, and even got my fountain pump working again. Every job was done with care and solid workmanship. He was reliable, efficient, and offered high-quality work at a reasonable price. I’m extremely pleased with the results and would definitely recommend him to anyone needing home repairs or small projects done right."

"I have only been lucky enough to get a handyman like Tommy, I believe his name was Tommy, twice. He completed everything I asked and shopped around; in addition, he truly went above and beyond. I would’ve paid double, possibly triple, if need be, for such attention to detail. In a city such as San Antonio, this style of work ethic, where someone is experienced and does not wing a job, is scarce. This company has a customer for life. Any job that can be fulfilled through them, I will gladly give them the business."

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

A spark arrestor is not the same as a chimney cap. Both sit on the top of the chimney. However, the cap keeps debris from entering the chimney, and the spark arrestor’s primary function is to prevent burning embers from escaping. Some spark arrestors are integrated into the chimney cap, and others are installed separately.

You can relight a pilot light by yourself, but it’s not always the safest choice to do so. While the job is straightforward, a small mistake could end in a gas leak, fire, or explosion. That’s why we recommend everyone hire a pro for this job. Local furnace pros have lit dozens if not hundreds of pilot lights, and they’re well-versed and highly experienced in the proper safety protocols to keep you, your family, and your home safe while doing so.

Electrical fires are unique from other fire types because they have the potential to deliver electric shocks in addition to being on fire. Avoid serious injury from possible electrical emergency situations by avoiding the use of water, foam-based fire extinguishers, wet-chemical fire extinguishers,  flour, or baking powder to put out an electrical fire.

Whether or not your attic ladder needs to be fire-rated depends on your local building codes, so it’s best to check with your municipal office. However, if your ceiling meets a fire requirement, your attic ladder should as well. There are benefits of opting for a fire-rated ladder. For one, thanks to their fire-resistant material, they'll help protect your home from fire spreading from your attic, if one should break out.

Generally, an oil furnace is considered safer than a gas furnace for several reasons. While both types of furnaces can produce carbon monoxide, a leak in an oil furnace is easier to detect due to the smell. Oil furnaces also don't connect to a gas pipeline, which reduces the chance of a fuel leak. Most importantly, heating oil is not combustible, whereas natural gas is highly flammable. This means there is a much lower risk of combustion or explosion with an oil furnace. However, an oil furnace can still pose a fire hazard if it tips over.
