Alamo City Handymen just finished several projects at my home. My experience started off great and ended great. Chris was my first contact. He made an appointment to come out and see what all I needed done. He was on time, which is a big plus for me. Once we got everything on paper, Richard was assigned to complete the work. Richard was always on time (again big plus) and with a smile on his face. He was detail oriented and always asked questions if he was unsure about something, and he did a great job cleaning up after himself. I definitely will use Alamo City Handymen in the future.

Wow!! David was fast and efficient! He was able to remove the old bars with NO damage to my brick exterior! He was the only workman that could look at my pics and explain the procedure. I will gladly call them for other projects in the future.

David ("Dave") Palamo went the extra mile for me (am so grateful!). He came to my gated community around 6:30 last night and used his step-ladder to reach the internal lighting fixture in my garage. The fixture has two tubes--one had burned out, but the other was still working. He pulled the burned out tube and took it to the nearby Home Depot to ensure that he bought the right replacement tubes. When Dave came back within a few minutes with the new tubes, he first inserted one of the new tubes and then swapped out the old tube that was still working with the other new tube. Thanks again, Dave! You gave me peace of mind and ensured that I could turn on the lights in my garage!

Terrible would not do business with again. Still leaked from the very first time it rained and they never actually fixed even though we called and told them about it multiple times . I had to hire a new contractor to fix the Job they were paid in full to do. Owner was very indignant and no problem taking advantage of the elderly who can not get up on the roof and check the work.

"[Member Name Removed], I am sorry to hear you feel that way. I am assuming you are talking about the seal coat work we did on the garage roof last year? As I mentioned on the phone, a seal coat is not a long term solution for a roof and on a hard rain, if there are small cracks or holes that cannot be seen or penetrated, it will leak. I am a senior citizen as well, I certainly would never take advantage of the elderly, we do not have a reputation for that. On the contrary, we have helped and will continue to help senior citizens and we sometimes even do work for them for free."

After examination it was determined it could not be fixed and it was recommended it be replaced. Arrangements were made and a metal ladder (wooden no longer available) was installed. It was framed and painted. The door was also painted. The installer also installed some molding around the opening to keep out cold air.*****
