"Ray was great. He came out to have a look at my fireplace. The inspection turned into the installation of a new gas insert with logs and lots of advice. I'm glad I reached out. I'm very happy with the results."

"We feel very fortunate to have selected Texas Air Quality to work on our chimney. Anna, in the office, and Leo, who did the work, were both very professional, explained things very well and did exactly as they said they would do. It was a blessing to have Leo do the work. He worked inside and outside our house and was very conscientious in doing the work correctly and taking care of our property. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend them."

"All of the people from Dreamyards were very professional, on time and did a great job. They accidentally cut a electrical wire to my tiny office in my backyard and came back immediately after hours to fix it quickly. They installed more sprinkler heads then I expected and my yard will never be dry again after this install. They talked me through how to use the system and how to hook it up to an app on my phone. I would recommend and use them again for future landscaping projects."

"Oscar and crew did a magnificent job on my front yard. They completely changed the appearance of my house. Just by removing the mulch and installing the right size of stone has changed the appearance of the entire front of my home. Oscar & crew are professionals who take professional pride in their work ethics and abilities. I'll be calling them soon for my next project. Thank you guys, and God bless you, one and all."

"Mr Cervantes and his crew were hired to remove an Ash tree in our backyard. We were extremely happy with his work. It's amazing how he and his employees work together and take pride in what they do. Based on the work Mr Cervantes has done for us, which would include tree removals and lawn service, we would never hire anyone else."

"David was the only handyman listed to answer his phone on a Sunday. I needed work done the following Saturday as it was our only day off. He doesn't typically work on Saturday but agreed to do the work. He arrived on time and got right to work on hanging a very delicate chandelier in a very high place. He also installed a doggie door. They were very professional, finished in a timely manner and charged a fair price. I would use them again and recommend them."

FAQs for fire pit installation projects in Helotes, TX

Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.

When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.

As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:

  • The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check

  • Required to have applicable state and local licenses

  • Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review

  • Paying to advertise their services

  • Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi

Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.

The cost to remodel your fireplace is $1,200 on average. This cost can range from $400 to $2,000, depending on the extent of work needed.

If you add a hearth to your fireplace, you can expect to pay between $3 and $200 per square foot. However, if you're refacing your fireplace, the price tag will depend on your chosen materials. If choosing tile, you can pay between $1 and $50 per square foot, depending on the design. Stone is a more expensive material, averaging between $60 and $70 per square foot.

The cost of a paver patio is $3,800 for a 280-square-foot patio on average. Depending on the patio size, paver material, and design complexity, this cost can range from $2,400 to $7,000 or more.
