He: replaced mailbox post and installed house numbers; cleaned and painted lamppost; patched broken concrete; repaired and painted yard house door and wall; replaced every HVAC vent; replaced translucent plastic panels below fluorescent kitchen lights; repaired and painted bedroom, bathroom and family-room walls and "popcorn" ceilings; painted walls and shelves in pantry; replaced pull-down attic stairs; touched up stain on kitchen cabinets; painted edges of front porch to match bricks; power-washed siding and foundation on back of house; replaced weather stripping around utility room door; cleaned and repainted porch-light fixture; made and installed new trim molding in kitchen; disposed of old and excess paint. "My co-worker recommended JP Construction, and I'm so glad he did. They communicated well, were on time, and did great work. Windows were done in a day, siding and painting took a few more days, and everything went very smoothly. The end result was picture perfect. There was room in the contract for fixing rotten boards should they find them once they removed the siding. This allowed for what I knew would be some necessary repair work without running up the final cost. They even fixed a few rotting roof trim boards that my roofer (a different company) had said they'd fix but never did. JP Construction saw that there was an issue and took care of it. AND they fixed a gutter that had been hung incorrectly and was holding water. There was nothing in the contract about that, but they took the time to do it. That's pretty amazing customer service. My neighbor said that it looked like I had a whole new house when they were done. I suppose it would when you get new windows and siding, but that's also a commentary on the quality of work. I'd recommend JP Construction to anyone."

"We thought the 4 exterior doors needed weather stripping replaced. There was a gap at each door bottom right corner where our cold air came in and our heat was escaping. Mr Ludwig showed up promptly on time. He could have done the replacements and been in and out quickly. He showed us the stripping was not the problem, the doors had settled out of alignment. He removed each and re-hung adjusting hinges on 1. All the gaps were gone and the doors looked square. We liked that he explained everything he did and why. Very thorough. Personable, articulate, knowledgeable, professional. Answered all our questions with patience and courtesy. Being older folks, we were very impressed with the entire experience. "I was really impressed with the quality of work that went into the siding, caulking, and painting. Paul came out and walked me through each of the steps and explained exactly what would need to happen. He had a good set of suggestions for insulation / zip board as well as designs for the front area that I wanted redone. The real magic of the process was watching the siding team and the painting team work on the siding. I expected to have to clean up after them, but they cleaned up their nails / etc so well I had nothing to pick up. Not only were they fast, but their quality and meticulous perfection of caulking and siding was amazing. They did a great job taking down my rotted pergola safely and neatly (they sanded down the metal bolts on the ground to be flush when I asked). The team also took down an extra internet line I had running all the way around my house that was no longer used as part of the job, which I really appreciated. I should note that when they paint, they do not do sanding on doors/etc. It's spray paint. When I realized this, I took off an extra color, and Paul was thankfully very flexible on making an addendum and taking that off the final price, which I appreciated. They have only one team for siding and one team for painting, and one guy, Ryan, who puts everything back on the side, so scheduling has to work around when each team finishes a job. I did several quotes for different Angie's List companies before I landed on Austin Pro Siding, and I'm so glad I did end up with them. The price was very reasonable and the quality of their work is unparalleled. I highly recommend their services."
