"Jon did a fantastic job, he was professional, polite, and respectful. Helped me patch a hole in the dry wall. Will be hiring him again for future repairs. (The paint match in the photos is my fault that it didn’t match)"

"David was very active in completing, informing me of status of project and addressing issue during the project. Great job in remodeling home.Strengths: Drywall repair, flooring, painting, cabinetry, plumbing Weakness: Electrical, tiling, response after completionHis crew installed ceiling fans and the functionality was no longer consistent. If you turned on/off switch one room it controlled the fan and the other it controlled the light requiring you to manually turn off/on the unaffected at the fan. Electrical outlets on back wall of a room became inoperable. According to contractors, it was already that way. As I lived there before and had tenants in home for 3 yrs-it was not likely. David said he would have someone come look at it. As of Nov 19, he still has not sent anyone and has stop responding to me. Bathrooms were updated nicely from aged 1968 setting. The tilling in showers mediocre. Caulking was not neatly done and began to crack and fall apart in less than 2 months. After two attempts to correct the issues, it still is not corrected as of today. The big issue was a question, asked by my wife, if home needed to be leveled prior to remodeling due to a crack noticed in wall. It was answered no as the crack was due to home settling. Remodeled was done, house continued to degrade and broke some of the work they had done. David assured he was going to take care of it-but there has been no response until now. I have moved to find others to fix the deficiencies. I would suggest ensuring David is not stretched to thin in trying to do too many jobs. That has been his reason before in delays to return."

"Henry painted the interior of my home that had damage from a foundation repair completed in November 2025. He did a fantastic job! Henry also painted and repaired the walls and base boards in several other rooms. He completed this project in short time and cleaned up everything. I would hire Henry for any future projects that I might have in my home."

Drywall questions, answered by experts

To maintain plaster walls, inspect them regularly for cracks and seal them early. Clean the walls by dusting regularly or using a gentle, damp cloth. It's also important to avoid moisture exposure. Repainting as needed will help maintain the wall's appearance and longevity.

In some minor cases, you can DIY drywall repair with minimal time and money spent. This method is best when you have a hole made by a singular problem, such as accidental furniture moving, and not a continuous problem, like a rodent infestation.

Knowing what product to use is crucial. For example, small holes only need spackle, whereas large holes might need a new piece of drywall. You can flex your DIY abilities on this project, but if you’d like a second opinion or have a more significant problem, it’s best to call in a drywall repair pro.

You may need to replace drywall because of smoke damage. If the drywall is covered in soot, you may be able to clean it, but it will require a lot of time and effort. You could spend hours cleaning the drywall only to find there is more damage and it needs to be replaced anyway. It’s usually easier and safer to remove the smoke-damaged drywall and replace it.

Cracks, water damage, and holes from fixtures or impact.

Yes, a fan can help drywall mud dry faster by improving air circulation and reducing humidity in the room. Drywall mud dries through evaporation, so increasing airflow speeds up this process. However, you should position the fan to blow across the room rather than directly on the wet mud. This helps prevent drying too quickly, which can cause cracking. You should also use a dehumidifier if high humidity is an issue.
