"My parents had an issue with their previously installed shower. It was not draining properly and David Lennox quickly facilitated the reinstall. He is always so pleasant and professional and was happy to get the ball rolling. Sean and Dominic came to do the reinstall and they handled it so well. They were respectful of my parentâ s home, they worked safely and efficiently and the new shower looks amazing! Thanks Sean and Dominic for your hard work and most of all thank you David for getting this taken care of for us so quickly."

"We really like that our shower now is much more manageable to clean and use. The new shower wall panels are acrylic, no tile so that means we don't have to worry about cleaning grout. Also, for our older home, with so much settling, we didn't feel that tile would hold out very long. The tile shower was already cracked in multiple places and it could happen again. The sales and customer service people were friendly and helpful. They were not pushy at all. They also were timely and communicated well to let us know how the process was coming along. We had to go back and forth a bit to get the finished work up to standard, which meant our project was finished later than expected, but they fixed the issues and were easy to work. All in all we are satisfied with the work and experience. There is also a lifetime guarantee on their work, which is a big benefit."

On average, a plumber will take 30 minutes to two hours to clear a clogged drain. If the clog is located close to the drain or an access point and isn’t severe, the project will take about half an hour. If the clog is deep within your plumbing system or is a severe blockage, it can take two or more hours to remove the clog. For this reason, main line clogs tend to take longer, usually between two and three hours.
It’s possible to snake minor drain clogs yourself, provided they sit within a foot or two of the drain itself, but it’s usually best to hire a professional plumber regardless. Even experienced DIYers have a high chance of accidentally pushing the clog further into the drain using a drain snake or another tool, so hiring a plumber is the ideal course of action. A professional plumber can use camera equipment to locate and identify the clog, and remove the entire blockage to fix your issue permanently.
In most areas, drain cleaning professionals don’t technically need a license, as they aren’t altering your plumbing system in any way. However, we recommend hiring a drain cleaning professional with a plumbing license and certification. Certified plumbers are more likely to provide professional solutions to drain clogs without damaging your system. They’ll also have the diagnostic tools and experience necessary to remove the clog entirely rather than providing a temporary solution, as a handyperson might. Use Angi’s state licensing tool to check your plumber’s professional licenses before hiring.
Applying drain cleaner is a common DIY solution to clogged drains, but it can be extremely harmful to your pipes and lead to corrosion and leaks. It is almost always better to try snaking a clog than using a drain cleaner, but the best solution is to hire a professional plumber. They can locate the clog and gauge the severity using a camera system and then decide if using a plumber’s snake, auger, or drain cleaner is the best option to remove the clog and limit damage to your plumbing system.
The average cost to unclog a drain is around $200, with prices ranging between $110 and $800, depending on the type of drain and the extent of the clog. Hiring a professional to snake the toilet or sink will usually cost between $110 and $275, a bathtub or shower typically costs around $225, and a main line clog can cost between $100 and $800 based on the severity of the clog and how far beyond the access point the clog sits. Since the labor involved varies, most plumbers will charge an hourly rate for drain cleaning.
