"After a high-pressure sales pitch presented as an estimate, a "3 days tops" job turned into a month. The materials are good quality and the overall end result is fine now, but it was a circus during the install! First, someone drove a screw through the wall straight into an electrical outlet on the other side! Thank goodness the house didn't burn down when it shorted out inside the wall. After going back and forth with a supervisor "Aaron" who was never even there during the work, saying that it was an existing problem in the electrical system, it finally got fixed. When there's a brand new 3-inch screw going through the box, that is definitely not an existing wiring problem! Apparently they ran out of the screws they were supposed to be using and tried to improvise... Then, 2 floor tiles were cracked during the job and they had to be replaced. Luckily, the same tiles were in stock at the local big box so it was able to be repaired without changing the entire floor, but tack on another day of work. Then, the shower doors were installed upside down and backwards, so another trip had to be made for that to be remedied AFTER they had to order a completely new set of doors! So for 2 weeks we were shimmying into the shower behind a shelf at the back wall of the bathroom. All in all, for the price you pay for this type of shower, I'd expect the workmanship and attention to detail to be much better. The crew was very nice during the process and did eventually own up to and fix the flubs, but if I had to do it all over again, I'd buy a top of the line kit from a big box and have an independent contractor install it for half the cost. I was also encouraged to leave positive reviews in exchange for a gift card, which would explain a lot of the 5 star reviews around the net..."

"Ted did an excellent job.  My bathroom looks beautiful!  The shower in my master bathroom leaked into the bedroom due to an old shower liner that needed to be replaced.  This resulted in needing to retile the shower.  I also wanted to expand it.  Upon knocking out the tile Ted found that the studs needed to be replaced due to previous termite damage.  He replaced the studs, sheetrock and retiled as well as expanded the shower and added a frameless door. He also retiled and replaced the tub.  Ted does most of the work himself along with another worker.  He contracts out  for the frameless glass door and the paint job.  Both of the workers were also excellent and did a great job.     Ted was very professional, friendly, courteous, and on time.  He gave me a detailed estimate and explained everything up front.  I had several estimates and Ted's was the most reasonably priced.  He also was the only professional who explained everything in detail prior to beginning the work.  He was always easy to get a hold of and returned calls promptly if he was not available. I would definitely recommend him and hope to use him in the future to remodel another bathroom.

"The work done to complete and replace our old bathtub and shower was in one day. And it was mostly done by one technician and saw the problem with our pluming and called up a plumber and fixed it pretty quick. The technician did a great job. The only issue I had a problem with were the two previous technicians that arrived. There was road and sidewalk work being done by the city and the technician that we spoke to said that they could not do the job and to reschedule it. So, I called in to have it rescheduled and during that same week the other technician came by and had no problems about the work being done in front of our house and did the job that day with the help of the plumber. So overall great job and I will refer Bath Fitter to my friends and family."
