When we found our new house, she negotiated a month-to-month lease with the sellers. This allowed us to move early and to prepare our house for sale. Our house sold in record time, and we had one of the easiest closing that I have ever experienced. Kudos to you, Chris, and thanks for your help! I used them for the carpet that I had on the floor for years. I was just really disappointed in their customer service. So there was no way I was going to go with them, it was too risky. Whereas the customer service of the company I went with was incredibly good. Their price was slightly better, but not enough to take the risk. I ended up paying the other company just under $7000. What Discount Floors quoted me was under that by approximately $500. It was not enough to take the risk. I had wood laminate put down in major parts of my house and then carpet in the two remaining bedrooms. So I picked out a laminate with them and then said, \"Now, here are my parameters for carpet that I'm looking for.\" The representative just said, \"Well, there is the carpet sample. Have at it.\" No help, whatsoever. I went back again because on my own I picked out a carpet that I just thought, \"This is more expensive than is necessary and deeper pile that I need. Let me see what else I can find.\" I got a bit more help from another representative. But while I was there, the original guy was there when I went back to find a better carpet sample for my need. He was very polite. He was sitting at his desk and he said, \"I've got a customer I'm working on right now and another in the store.\" So like I'd be third in line. \"Do you mind waiting?\" I said, \"No, that's fine.\" Then he had, to their credit, another salesman assist me in looking at other carpet samples. But then he got a phone call. The receptionist went to him and said, \"You have a call from so and so.\" The guy said, \"Well, tell him I'll call him back.\" She must have said, \"You need to take this call. This guy is really angry.\" Because then I overheard his end of the call in which he was going, \"Sir, I'm not trying to put you off\" So clearly it was a really angry customer. That, together with my experience just sealed it. There was no way I was going to take a risk. I think even without that angry phone call, I just was reluctant. Dealing with the public is difficult. So if it were just the phone call that would have been one red flag, but I already had my own red flag in dealing with them. Whereas the company I went with, I had a similar thing. I had picked out a carpet and then I thought, \"This carpet is slightly more expensive than the laminate. So it must be of higher quality.\" So I called the woman I had dealt with and I said, \"I would like to see what some alternatives would be that would cover my needs\" Because I have cats, I wanted something that was going to be not only stain resistant but would hide any stain residue as well. When I went over there after that call, she had picked out some samples. She had them ready for me. She was with another customer, so another sales person helped me look through those. Everything I requested they did. I'm real sensitive to chemical odors. So I know new carpet with the glue and with chemicals and all of that was going to be just really bad. Once I signed the contract, I called back and said, \"Is there anyway you can air out the carpet?\" She said, \"Let me figure out how to do that. We'll do our best.\" She was concerned about unrolling it in their warehouse because it would get dirty. But when the men brought it in, it was folded. It was not rolled. Clearly, it had been aired out. Somehow the fumes dissipated pretty quickly. I was just very pleased with them. The guy from Discount Floors who came to measure was certainly punctual and professional enough."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/tx/bryan/discount-floors-reviews-5503720.htm"},"position":3},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":" Aggieland Green","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"TX","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"David A."},"reviewBody":"Aggieland Green is a locally owned company run by Tim Schnabel, a graduate of Texas A&M University. "I was scheduled with United Plumbing between 5 and 8pm Dec. 23, 2024 to have a toilet installed. I tried to reach out to the number Angi sent me through Lowe’s 3 times to verify several days before the appointment, and those calls were all ignored. I got a text message from the owner “Nate” at 4:45 on the day of service asking if I was available. I called him less than 10 minutes later to tell him I was on my way to the job location, and he responded by telling me, “we don’t work after 5, so I parked my truck.” I was very confused by this since he tried to reach out to me under 10 minutes earlier. After several minutes of requesting that he fulfill his pre-scheduled appointment, and him refusing, I accepted his offer to come at 9 the next morning. I said “I’ll see you at 9, and hung up the phone.” Nate cancelled and refused to come, “because I hung up my phone.” What else was there to say?! The owner is very unprofessional, and should not be running a business!"

Heavenly Heat Infrared Saunas are made for the chemically sensitive. That means that our infrared saunas create an ideal, safe, and effective detoxification environment for anyone seeking to eliminate toxic substances from their body.
"Terrible! Wish I had gone with another company. Here is the issue with Heavenly Heat. If your sauna arrives damaged or and issue arrives -- they have zero technical support. Your repairs will be done by any "joe" that heavenly heat finds to do the repair in your area. They will have no experience with Sauna's and are given no instructions regarding the chemical free aspect of these sauna's. The worst part is the buyer, me, was treated as if I was the problem for wanting my sauna repaired correctly. I would have refused the delivery had I realized I was receiving a damaged sauna and would have to spend hours and days trying to get this resolved. The owner, Bob Morgan, is extremely responsive before he has your money but after, is a different story. When inquiring about the sauna he would respond generally within 10 minutes. After you purchase, and particularly if you have a problem with it, you are treated as if you're a nuisance. My sister bought a competitors sauna around the same time and the service she received from knowledgable representatives was a world of difference from my experience. My other issue was that there were shipping delays and Bob would never communicate them. I would have to pursue him to get information. I think they make a decent sauna but I would not recommend for reasons stated above."

FAQs for appliance sale projects in Iola, TX
If you’re debating whether it’s worth repairing a damaged appliance, consider a few factors, including the appliance’s age and the cost to replace it. Large, high-value appliances are worth repairing, especially when the fixes are minor and the appliance is only a few years old. However, if the cost of repairs is more than half the price of a new item, then it may be worth replacing it. For example, if your refrigerator repair costs continue increasing and add up to more than 50% of the cost to replace it, you’re better off buying a new one.
In most cases, appliance warranties do not transfer to new owners. However, some exceptions apply. To check the status of your appliance warranty and whether you can transfer it when you move, review the terms and conditions of your warranties or consult your home warranty service. When purchasing a new appliance or one from a previous owner, be sure to pay attention to its warranty status, including the type of coverage and any exclusions.
Typically, most appliances last anywhere from 10 to 15 years, depending on the appliance, brand, and amount of use. Keeping a regular maintenance schedule, including cleaning and tune-ups, also helps appliances last longer. Dryers, gas stoves, and refrigerators tend to last the longest, averaging about 13 to 15 years. Microwaves and dishwashers tend to last about 10 years on average.
There are a few scenarios when replacing all kitchen appliances simultaneously makes sense, including major renovations, moving into a new home, or purchasing as a set. If you want to refresh your kitchen upon move-in day or start over during a renovation, consider purchasing and replacing your kitchen appliances at once to save on labor costs. Also, if your appliances are all original to the home or are older and require increasing amounts of maintenance and repair, replacing them all at the same time may be a good option.
The cost of home appliances ranges from $350 to $8,000 or more, depending on the brand, type of appliance, and features. Additional cost factors include any hookups that need to be installed, such as gas, plumbing, or electrical. Keep in mind that major appliances, such as refrigerators, washers and dryers, and water heaters, will cost more than minor appliances, such as microwaves, due to the size, complexity, and essential nature of the item.
