Owner's daughter laughed and stated to me that she found it humorous that my warranty appointment was being rejected.   I even explained to her that I was a long time customer, as are my parents and in-laws.  She acted completely indifferent and rude.

Daryl came out on 7/10/2015.  I had asked for someone who could repair all 3 appliances. 

I was concerned about smelling gas when the Kenmore Elite HE3 dryer was running, and had explained that the dryer was stacked on the washer.  Daryl brought an assistant to help move the dryer.  He inspected it, said it was safe and the smell was from the very long vent hose that was likely kinked.  He suggested not pushing the dryer quite as far back into its slot. 

The Whirlpool Gold refrigerator with freezer on bottom leaked water every week or so.  When I cleaned the ice out of the bottom, it would be another week until it leaked again.  When I made the appointment I let them know that a previous repairman had said it was a design flaw with the freezer.  Daryl was familiar with the issue and checked for the part that would indicate the suspected problem.  It was a small rubber nozzle that clogs when it gets dirty and doesn't let the water drain during the defrost cycle of the freezer.  He suggested 3 alternatives for repair:  replace the nozzle for $5 (but the problem would happen again in a couple years); replace the nozzle with a p-trap suggested by Whirlpool, about $60, or just leave the nozzle off (this would make the freezer slightly less efficient but would eliminate the problem).  I chose to leave off the nozzle.  Daryl said we had to let the freezer thaw so the draining process would start working.  I could leave it off for 48 hours or he could defrost it for $65.  I chose to let him defrost it and get the issue settled.  The assistant worked on this while Daryl diagnosed the oven.

The oven had stopped working on the Frigidaire Gallery range.  I suspected a bad igniter based on internet research.  Daryl inspected the oven and took things apart to properly diagnose.  The problem was with the control panel - it was not sending power to the oven at all.  Daryl informed me the new control panel would be about $250.  He could order the part and install it when it arrived the following week.  I gave the go-ahead to order the part.  This was on Friday.  The part came in early the following week and Daryl came out to install it.  The control panel part did not include the clock face.  When Daryl replaced the control panel he had to separate it from the clock face and it pulled some paint off the clock face.  It worked, but wasn't very pretty.  A new clock face would cost $30 and there would be no charge to install it.  I gave the go ahead for the part.  Daryl installed the new clock face the following Monday.

Overall I was very happy with the quality of work and professionalism of Daryl and Buddy's Appliance.

Routine sales install, warranty service and post warranty support. Only negative is that after sale and warranty expires, they tend to stock few parts compared to major internet sources and consider most ordered parts "special order" with premium pricing and no return option even if they make a mistake looking up/subbing the appropriate part numbers. Easier to buy most parts off of internet where prices are a bit less, no tax and can be returned if incorrect.

.They tested the freezer and let it run.  Functioned fine.  Turns out we may have left the door not totally closed which caused it to defrost and start thawing food.  They diagnosed it and did not charge us for unnecessary repairs, only the cost to do the diagnostics.  Even let it run for an extra week in their shop to make sure.  Good to deal with a company that has that kind of integrity.

The serviceman arrived promptly and very quickly diagnosed the machine.  It seems GE washing machines use cement (!) blocks as counter balances.  The cement block on top of the machine was lose and needed to be tightened.  Additionally, some cement dust had gotten into the interior of the machine.  He checked the interior of the machine and removed cement dust that had gotten onto one of the belts.  It works like new!
Additionally, the serviceman noticed that we were using some rubber pads on the metal feet of the washer to dampen noise (recommended during purchase from another supplier).  He alerted me that the pads changed the center-of-gravity of the machine and could lead to problems.  We removed the pads and he was right--no extra noise, so no real need for them.
This makes the fourth time that we have had Buddy's out for service, all four times with wonderful results.  I won't use anyone else!

I priced many ranges with several local dealers and thanks to Buddy's pre-sale interest, I finally decided on the one that fit my needs the best. I found the prices for the same range to be within $30.00 for all dealers, one even advertising a sale price. Even though I am more intrested in service before, during and after the sale than price,  I was pleasantly surprised to find no large price discrepancy. I was not disappointed in Buddy's service, it exceeded my expectations. They took the guess work out my decision by providing me with the information needed to make sure the range that I wanted would fit in my kitchen. Ordering was a breeze, no problems with payment (two options were offered), delivery was on time and installation was excellent. The delivery/installation technician was dependable and knew his business well. He was polite and took the time to make sure I had no questions about the range. Because of Buddy's A+ service I will happily recommend them to others and use the again when needed.

They have one repairman who was excellent, and one who has done 4 different repairs, but I still have a problem w/ my refrigerator door fixed completely.  I’ve disagreed w/ a repair that he’s done in the past that ended up becoming a problem.  In general, they are a good company.  Response time is good, but they are pricier than others, and they’ve never applied the 10% discount that I’m supposed to receive since I’ve purchased from them, although I have not mentioned this to the company yet.  I do want to point out that when I first received the fridg from them, Buddy himself was very concerned there was a dent in the door, and he came back the same day to change out the doors.

Our lawn service alerted us to standing water in the yard at our home. We do not reside in the Bryan - College Station area and looked on Angie's list for service. When we contacted Buddys they sent someone out the same day. They phoned us with the problem and estimate for repair. The estimate was reasonable. And the problem, which was a leak in the outdoor faucet, was fixed the same day. Great experience !!

I was happy with my experience with Buddy's. They have a guarantee that they will beat any price of a competitor. I got a good price quote at Lowes, and while Buddy's could not beat the price, they matched it and gave me free shipping and instalation, which would have cost $50.00 at Lowes. The sales people and the intstaller were friendly and helpful. I plan to use them again in the near future to buy a new stove/oven.
