He did a thorough inspect of my unit. He kept me informed and invited me to the unit upon completion. His report was in my e-mail within 36 hours as he promised. He provided a professional non biased report with details and photographs. He made recommendation for follow-ups as deemed by his report. He made sure that I knew he would be available to provide information after the inspection for up to several months. His fee was reasonable."

When the materials your house consists of move in any way and any amount, they can rub against each other or the fasteners that hold them in place. A random cracking sound from time to time is usually just a response to these movements.

Septic tank locations are sometimes public record, although it depends on local laws and the property age. Older properties may not have the septic tank information on public record. To check, you can talk to local permitting agencies, such as your local health department, the local environmental department, or the county clerk.
