For a free inspection by one our qualified roof technicians you can call 7 days week to schedule an appointment. We also have leak repair personal available 24 hours a day 7 days a week for emergencies. We accept all major credit cards. You won't be disappointed you called.

"Mr. Jon Crawford charged me over $10,000 to apply a coating, "gaco" to the roof of my house and garage, replace one wall of siding on my garage, replace the rain gutter and downspout on the garage. I had white spots on the roof and they spilled the material on the house, trim, walkways even my neighbors garage. I could not get Mr. Crawford to return to finish even though he needed his money to "pay the guys" and he said they would finish the next week. I had an inspection done by the manufacturer," Firestone" so see why there were spots on the roof and the report states that it was not power washed so the coating won't stick to the roof, there are areas that have no coating at all and it should NOT have been used on a metal shingle roof. 2 of the leaks returned in July, he still didn't return. He has ins. but has to pay $2,800 for the them to look at my claim and he has not paid it. The rain gutter on the garage is 3-4 inches to short, he has not replaced it and the downspout started to leak in June. He didn't send anyone to correct it, I hired another co. to correct it. There are other issues but now I need a new roof, it can not be repaired because he material would have to be sand blasted off and that would destroy the shingle. You can't put a patch on it because the coating is coming off and nothing will stick to it. He no longer returns my e-mails"

"At first, it was great. Shortly after completion, a very wide crack went the entire heiight. He sent someone to add more limestone over it. I have hundreds of progress pics. I now know he took a short cut. He used no black backing nor ANY wire mesh, on one end and nothing at very top. Used hardi backer attached to metal, then sprayed limestone over it. I have email & text with him stating LIFETIME warranty. There is so much damage, and he finally made the effort After 5 months of requesting he come by. Refuses to honor his work, or his word. He has RUINED this house. We have no choice but to proceed legally. Im absolutely heartbroken, because this is the ONLY thing I got, that I asked for. Much more to this story, but bottom line,...HE RUINED OUR HOME NOTE: My phone is not opening my picture gallery. Using phone to take pics from computer"

FAQs for chimney repair projects in Houston, TX

Chimney repairs can take many forms for a seemingly simple structure, and costs can vary widely. Common chimney repairs include:

  • Chimney flashing repair: $150–$500

  • Repointing mortar joints: $400–$2,500

  • Repair or replacement of flue liners: $200–$7,000

  • Patching brick or stone: $350–$3,000

  • Pouring a new concrete top: $100–$3,000

  • Repairing chimney caps: $75–$1,000

The cost to replace the chimney crown or top is about $1,550 on average. The range varies widely depending on the size of the chimney, the materials used, accessibility, and the extent of the damage. If you suspect a problem with your chimney top, call a professional masonry contractor for an inspection.

Some of the most common chimney problems include:

  • Creosote buildup

  • Chimney blockage

  • Deteriorating brickwork or stonework

  • Cracked chimney top

  • Damaged flashing

  • Flue liner damage or deterioration

  • Damaged chimney cap

If you suspect you have a chimney problem, contact a masonry contractor for an inspection.

On average, chimney repairs cost about $455. However, because of the vast range of potential repairs needed, the cost to repair a chimney ranges widely from $160 to $15,000, depending on the type and extent of repairs required.

The cost to replace a chimney is about $10,000 on average and can cost up to $15,000, depending on the size, accessibility, materials, and extent of the replacement. Sometimes tearing the chimney down to the roof line and rebuilding it is an option. But if the chimney's internal structure deteriorates badly enough, a complete demolition down to the fireplace or the foundation may be necessary.
