"Shannon, the owner treated us so horribly. This is by far the worst customer service we’ve EVER received, and after looking at previous reviews, it seems like other people have also been disrespected by Shannon. When placing the order with Co-Owner Tatyona, they were aware we were buying in behalf of a business with full authorization. We moved forward with the purchase due to their agreement of an invoice CC transaction and next day delivery. The next day delivery was essential to us as we’re interior designers with a deadline. They were more than happy to sell us the fridge as we would become regular customers. This was May 6. The next day(May 7), the day of the delivery I received a very offensive call 30 mins before the delivery time from Shannon stating they won’t be delivering the fridge due to the transaction still pending and not being able to schedule delivery again, if even, on Thursday May 12th… I understood that, but why schedule a delivery for next day knowing you have to wait for transactions to clear? Next day delivery on May 7th was promised. Transaction fully cleared on 05/09 and we were willing to provide Shannon with whatever he needed to verify the transaction as he continued to refuse giving us our fridge. Picture ID with business CC. Amex Transaction. Amex account holder information. Business documents. He continued to refuse our verification method and give us a hard time to acquire the fridge. At this time, the funds have already been pulled from our account and we told him we can pick it up, that’s not a problem. Shannon followed up with “You, or nobody is going to be coming into this store to take anything from me, nor will we be delivering anything to you until this transaction clears. You can cancel, go to Home Depot, I really don’t care”. This was clearly a lie coming from Shannon as Amex verified that the funds have been successfully received but yet the transaction hasn’t posted on his end - according to Shannon. His next comment was how we didn’t have the card physically with us, but they clearly knew that as he assisted his wife, Tatyona to provide us the invoice. Again, we attempted to provide him every ANYTHING needed to verify but he refused. Today, May 12th, we walked into Sparks to see Tatyona and she have absolutely no idea who we are - she knew as she was hostile towards us immediately. Once we refreshed her memory, she acted clueless. We offered to purchase the fridge right then and there with our ID and CC to verify. Now, she refused to do this and stated our refund/cancellation has been processed. We left the store and came back only a few seconds later to ask for a copy of the cancellation. Once I asked for the receipt of the refund, she only then voided the transaction because I asked. Very unfortunate experience - I wish I could post the recording of the conversations. This interaction is by far the worst myself, and my team have been treated by company. The disrespect was extremely unprofessional."

We service major appliances in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Our service call fee is $80 plus what it takes to repair your appliance. We will fix only what needs to be fixed, quote you a price before we do the work, and use new parts. We are usually able to get to you the day you contact us or the following day. We guarantee our work.
"Our refrigerator had stopped working and we were in desperate need of getting it fixed. Steve came out fast and diagnosed the problem. He got us back up and running within a few hours. He kept me totally up to date on what the symptoms were and expected repair costs. On top of that needed repair, I had purchased a replacement ice maker which hadn't worked for a while and he replaced it - no extra charge. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I would highly recommend his company to anyone who needs appliance services."

Bloomin Blinds is a family business. Karen (Mom) began the company in 2001 and within months her 3 sons joined Bloomin' Blinds. With the addition of 7 amazing staff members, we do our best to keep up! While we are one of the largest volume blind/shutter retailers in DFW, you will still feel like you are part of the family as we work together.
"One of the many projects we’ve had on our list was to upgrade the front of our house by replacing our old curtains with shutters. We had used Bloomin Blinds on several occasions for repairs, but had never bought any products from them. Becca and her team did exactly what they said they would from the outset, suggesting the appropriate width and color for the shutters. The dimensions were measured on two occasions, resulting in three shutter units that are exact fits for our window units. The shutters look great inside and out; our only regret with this process is that we didn’t let Bloomin Blinds tackle the project sooner."

If you’re debating whether it’s worth repairing a damaged appliance, consider a few factors, including the appliance’s age and the cost to replace it. Large, high-value appliances are worth repairing, especially when the fixes are minor and the appliance is only a few years old. However, if the cost of repairs is more than half the price of a new item, then it may be worth replacing it. For example, if your refrigerator repair costs continue increasing and add up to more than 50% of the cost to replace it, you’re better off buying a new one.
Typically, most appliances last anywhere from 10 to 15 years, depending on the appliance, brand, and amount of use. Keeping a regular maintenance schedule, including cleaning and tune-ups, also helps appliances last longer. Dryers, gas stoves, and refrigerators tend to last the longest, averaging about 13 to 15 years. Microwaves and dishwashers tend to last about 10 years on average.
There are a few scenarios when replacing all kitchen appliances simultaneously makes sense, including major renovations, moving into a new home, or purchasing as a set. If you want to refresh your kitchen upon move-in day or start over during a renovation, consider purchasing and replacing your kitchen appliances at once to save on labor costs. Also, if your appliances are all original to the home or are older and require increasing amounts of maintenance and repair, replacing them all at the same time may be a good option.
In most cases, appliance warranties do not transfer to new owners. However, some exceptions apply. To check the status of your appliance warranty and whether you can transfer it when you move, review the terms and conditions of your warranties or consult your home warranty service. When purchasing a new appliance or one from a previous owner, be sure to pay attention to its warranty status, including the type of coverage and any exclusions.
The cost of home appliances ranges from $350 to $8,000 or more, depending on the brand, type of appliance, and features. Additional cost factors include any hookups that need to be installed, such as gas, plumbing, or electrical. Keep in mind that major appliances, such as refrigerators, washers and dryers, and water heaters, will cost more than minor appliances, such as microwaves, due to the size, complexity, and essential nature of the item.
