"I contacted 4 companies to inspect my foundation and quote any recommended repairs. The quotes ranged from 6 to 16 piers, and $4K to $14K. While there were some similarities, there was a LOT of discrepancy between the work needed, what was included or extra, etc. I decided to obtain my own Structural Engineering report, and HIGHLY recommend CROSSTOWN ENGINEERING. Crosstown is completely independent and unbiased; they donâ t repair foundations and were not trying to sell me anything. They are professional, friendly and found an opening the next day. The engineer simply evaluated the property and provided a detailed report stating, â the foundation is performing as intended and we do not recommend foundation repairs at this time.â Best $400 Iâ ve ever spent! I have confidence in their findings, and I saved a LOT of money! If I have any concerns in the future, Crosstown will be my FIRST call!"

"It was a good experience during the 2 days inspection. The problem was that I was never told that the price of the inspection did not included a written report. I found out after calling inquiring why the engineer had not called back and not answering my call which she said she would do as soon as she completed the report. After calling multiple times for the engineer to call me back (as she said she would), it never happened even after speaking with the person in charge. So please make sure you ask what is included with the quoted price."

Josiah preformed the inspection and was very professional - he identified areas in need of repair, and explained to me the results of his inspection during a walk through of the areas in need of repair. "Bijay of FIF Engineering went the extra mile to help me when my contractor dropped the ball on some paperwork I had to have for my HOA in order to begin a renovation that was on a tight timeline. I called him first thing on a Friday morning and not only did he answer before 8 am, he booked an appointment to view the property and make an assessment before noon. It was a holiday weekend with all other offices closed on Monday, and he got me the paperwork I desperately needed on Sunday! He was helpful in making small revisions to the plans at no extra charge and even followed up a few weeks later to be sure I had everything I needed. Bijay is kind, punctual, an excellent communicator, and very knowledgeable. I will be using him exclusively for all of my structural engineering needs moving forward. Highly recommend!"
