Crosstown Engineering and Home Inspection

Excellent job! Josiah preformed the inspection and was very professional - he identified areas in need of repair, and explained to me the results of his inspection during a walk through of the areas in need of repair. The final written report was very professional and issued promptly. I highly recommend Crosstown Engineering. Well worth the cost of the inspection.

Crosstown came to inspect and validate the foundation work that we had done. They arrived on time and were very thorough in checking the levels on every part of our home. He answered questions that we had that were not even about the project he was checking. The guy was very personable and nice to our dog :) while he took measurements. We had a nice conversation at the end and I recommend highly choosing Crosstown for any needs you have!

Josiah from Crosstown Engineering performed a thorough inspection of our foundation. He also explained what was causing the thin cracks we were beginning to see around the home. Afterwards, we received a full report listing recommendations to fix the problems and tips for preventing further problems in the future. Very satisfied.

The inspection was quick and thorough. In this case the foundation repair company hired Crosstown for an independent assessment but I would not hesitate to hire Crosstown for my own home inspection.

It was a wonderful experience! I had originally contacted Crosstown Engineering because I had noticed some sticking doors and drywall cracks appearing in my house this summer. The engineer was prompt, professional, and very informative. He did a full evaluation of the foundation/house and explained to me that I was likely seeing some minor elevation changes due to seasonal weather changes. He said that all I needed was gutters and soaker hose system to help stabilize both my foundation and the ground it sits on. This was a huge help as I had previously been quoted over $5,000 by a foundation repair company to fix the foundation, when it didn’t need any work to begin with. I would 10/10 recommend this company to anybody with possible foundation issues, or anybody thinking of buying or selling a house.

My home inspector was extremely detailed and thorough. He took his time. He understood that he was helping me make a well informed decision on the purchase of my home. It felt like he was inspecting it as if he were the one buying the house. I’d hire Crosstown again and again and again. The office staff were the friendliest bunch I’d ever done business with!
