"I evaluated at least 10 contractors before choosing CJM Custom Homes. Four of them were from Angie?s List.  I narrowed it down to two, which made for a hard decision. Both contractors had good ideas. One was less expensive, and the other seemed to be more personable. I am extremely happy about how great my house looks because of his unique remodeling style.  My house did not cost a million dollars, but it sure looks like it now, after the fantastic job done by CJM Custom Homes.  Jarrett and his crews transformed my house to a beautiful home.  The project started out as a conversion of two attic spaces into extra bedrooms.  I was so pleased with the work that I continued to remodel most of my house.  Jarrett was very good about allowing me to add on to my original remodeling project without charging me extra fees for changing my contract.  I ended up remodeling a bathroom, remodeling several more rooms and bathrooms, added an additional bathroom, remodeled my kitchen, replaced carpet, installed recessed lighting in all upstairs rooms and updating my utility room.  Jarrett went above and beyond the call of duty and installed new utilities.  He is very trustworthy.  His subcontractors are also very professional and friendly. They always cleaned up after finishing their work, every time they came to my house.  I should note that I am a very particular customer, with high demands.  I can tell you that Jarrett accommodated all my demands. He was a little bit more expense then the other contractor that I was looking at, but in the long run he was worth the extra money.  I am very pleased with the remodeling job that CJM Custom Homes has done.  I highly recommend CJM Custom homes to anyone who is thinking of remodeling their home.  Thank you, Angie?s List, for helping me find a great contractor!

"I bought a supposed set French doors off Craigslist and called William Anderson for an estimate to install them. He gave me a very reasonable estimate so I told him to proceed. Well, it turns out the doors were not a set but 2 separate doors that were not even the exact same size! With a lot of knowledge, skill, many trips to Lowe's, perseverance and patience on his part my doors were installed and are beautiful. Wish I could post a picture to show the frame and the trim work that he did to make them work. While he had the old frame torn out I commented that my oak floor needed some help. The previous owner had put a 2x6' section of tile in front of the doors which I hated. He removed the tile and thin set and added new oak boards individually. No one could ever tell it wasn't part of the original floor.

When I looked over William's reviews on Angie's list I saw mostly A's in quality of work and I am in total agreement. I totally understand punctuality and promptness may sometimes be an issue when a job such as mine takes much longer than anticipated. However, I was very pleased that he took the extra time to do it right instead of rushing through it. I was happy to compensate him for the extra time it took but not once did he ask for more money than his original bid.

I might add, too, that he and his crew were very amiable and pleasant to work with! I'll definitely call Anderson's Family when I'm ready for my new deck!
